Last one: Pirates of Darkwater gone far too soon. This was my favorite along with Gargoyles and BTAS when I was a teenager.

“Even if I don’t see you
I can regain what we seek in the night;
Even if it’s really difficult
I’ll dance my path with the wolves.”

My country is a dumpster fire, but I am pretty glad I live in my state. It’s still a dumpster fire. But a much more controlled one.

Of course, it feels like the end of days lately. Maybe it is. So I suppose it’s a fitting mood. You know we had our go. Let the wolves have it all, they’ll do better than we did.

Thanks to Sir Terry, I always strive to be a militant decent librarian.

I am a librarian in America and your dad taught me Militant Decency. His work gave me the blueprint to take my anger at the injustice of the world and use it productively, in the service and defense of others. I’ve needed it a lot lately being what I am and where I live. I hope I honor his lesson.

As an old school TMNT fan, I know this is the struggle across all versions.

Thank you. I’ve been doing it 25 years for my teens, and the fact I hate hate bullies with all my soul.

As a crazy witch who’s been a librarian for 25 years, this checks out.

It is. Do I got diagnosed with T2 a few years ago. I always hated diet soda, but I found a couple I like as a once in awhile treat. Diet A&W root beer is one. Cole Zero is another.

Me and my partner just watched Porco Rosso recently. One of my favourite lines has a similar tone.

Wicker Man has been a favorite of mine since the first saw it in college. I have the whole soundtrack and have been known to play it for unsuspecting friends that don’t know the dark delights of Christopher Lee.

I have a weakness for novelty decks. I own so many decks I rarely read, but love to display when I do talks on Tarot.
My favorites: Marvel Comics deck and unsolved mystery deck. I am also eventually going to pick up the Ghostbusters deck. lol.
I have slowed my collecting though.

The awesome nerdy family sat in the front row and stayed to chat with me for almost an hour afterward. They were all lovely, and the dad and I shared many obscure 80’s cartoons we love.

And obviously peoples safety always comes first. I don’t blame anyone for staying far far away. Hell I want to stay far far away myself, but that’s not in the cards for me.

And I’m reasonable- no appearance fee. Just pay for my travel, give me a room, and feed me and I’ll do you anything between 10-12 panels over 3 days at 1-1 1/2 hours each.

I’m worried about Anime Boston. A huge draw of that con is Japanese guest and music acts. When I was head of GR, that’s the area we spent the most time and money in.

You know sometimes the ones that grab you by the shoulders and shake the crap out of you are the best. Thank you my friend.

If you’re still open, this librarian could use a little something.

100% agree, but this really is the worst timeline. It feels like we’re in a cage, and we don’t want anyone else to get caught in it with us.
