gosh, why won't the EU import USA food?
comment in response to post
I guess some would say Z

I can't wait for this to be the future

yeah it's an easy thing to miss! once the directory is already in the right place, you wouldn't notice the issue at all it's one of these things you'd only notice on a first try
comment in response to post
But the working directory is set to bin/ (the readme also says this should be the working directory) So I assume the data directory should be copied to bin/ instead? I can make a PR if you want
comment in response to post
Ah, seems the data is copied into bin/Debug/data or bin/Release/data instead of bin/data

do not understand why, but you know 🤷‍♂️

plenty of people still believed in the elon musk mythos until quite recently
comment in response to post
kind of wondering how long it'll take before the board of directors realize elon musk needs to go

nice! Definitely going to check this out when I get back from holiday .. I might just replace the text code in my gui framework with this & just contribute to this project instead

the funniest thing is that crazy units are officially defined in terms of metric units

I've been burned before when it was cloudy .. so yes, I am!

oh weird lol
comment in response to post
that seems to be the wrong link?

whats your plan with your lib? not sure if I asked this before
comment in response to post
but then again, if you're already atlassing maybe combining everything is a marginal extra cost anyway
comment in response to post
I guess strictly speaking you could have a texture atlas per batch you're uploading & render using bindless texturing ..?
comment in response to post
probably yeah
comment in response to post
In my GUI lib I'm thinking about rendering the glyphs into their textures on the gpu directly .. no more uploads!
comment in response to post
it also depends on how your updates look over time, if you mostly have a couple of small updates here and there, it's different compared to having a huge chunk of data that needs to be uploaded in one go

and microsoft wants to turn windows into an "agentic OS" where its AI can automatically do all kinds of things on your pc .. what could possibly go wrong
comment in response to post
I've been trying for hours and now the npc's are giving me funny looks
comment in response to post
I think AI would be amazing if it was used to solve all kinds of usability problems during development (like UV unwrapping), replacing actual people seems like a really bad idea to me for a multitude of reasons (AI is not even close to be ready for this, employees and customers would revolt etc etc)

Sadly my scaling is set to 1,1,1
comment in response to post
whyyyyyyyy
comment in response to post
These 50% tariffs on the EU might never materialize, he's talking about doing this in the future So now everyone is talking about this instead of the bill they passed in the middle of the night to hide it
comment in response to post
At the very least its very inconsistent ..

I know about both of those things, but wouldn't the the object wrapper be generating when sharedMaterial returns a Material? Is this some 'magic' happening on the c++ side? so weird
comment in response to post
So Material myMaterial = meshRenderer.sharedMaterial; if (myMaterial == null) { ... } is different from if (meshRenderer.sharedMaterial == null) { ... } ???
comment in response to post
Just when you think Republicans couldn't sink any lower .. yet, somehow, I'm not surprised. Surely this must be against some law that prevents singling out a particular group of people like this?
comment in response to post
Apparently the workaround is to always set baseVertex to 0, just be careful not to make the MeshData api crash Unity when you do that
comment in response to post
This seems to be a part of 6000.0.43 and up, haven't bothered to look where it got introduced. I'm so tired of this.

it could also be that they want to get rid of their boeings before it kills people but also spying
