Nothing he does makes logical sense, so it's probably because he's a lunatic.

Why yes, the closet is alluring when you compare it to being stripped of rights, dehumanized and killed.

The defense department isn't getting a gift, Trump is, and that is explicitly forbidden in the Constitution.

You're welcome! Lutherans do hold to the Eucharist and are given the side-eye for it by other Protestants.

In regards to the Pope- this is a massive divide between Catholics and Protestants. Both groups interpret a scripture passage these ways
Catholics- Jesus says the Rock upon the Church will be built is Peter, the first Pope.
Protestants- Jesus is saying He Himself is the Rock. No popes.

American Evangelicalism is viewed by traditional Protestants as that weird cousin that yes, is family but you don't let them make speeches at weddings because they are a little off and might make it weird.

Catholics teach infant baptism as one of the sacraments of grace. Paedo Baptist Protestants teach it as a sign (symbol) of the covenant that has nothing to do with salvation. Credo Baptist Protestants teach baptism by immersion after conversion. Protestants are divided primarily by this difference.

On grace- Catholics teach the methods of grace (sacraments). These lead to salvation. Believers must participate in these graces in particular ways. Protestants teach this is heresy, that grace is imputed to believers through Christ alone, at the will of God. This is a core division between the 2.

Catholics teach Transubstantiation, that through the ceremony of Eucharist, the wine and bread become the literal body and blood of Christ. Protestants teach it is simply a symbol of remembrance.

Roman catholicism has priests who are to be celibate. Protestants teach that as unbiblical. They also teach that biblically everyone is a priest. Catholicism has specific saints, Protestants teach all the saved are saints. Catholicism teaches the veneration of Mary (Marianism), Protestants don't.

Protestants hold to the 5 Solas in protest of the Roman Catholic Church
Sola scriptura- scripture alone
Sola fide- by faith alone
Sola gratia- by grace alone
Sola Christus- by Christ alone
Sola de gloria- to the glory of God alone.
These are in complete opposition to catholic doctrine.

Rubio, you speak for a country and a party that put the patriot act in place. I don't think you get to speak here.
