But for those who can't make it to #WaltDisneyWorld (like me), here's a POV on YouTube by J.P.L Studios filmed in Cross-eye 3D. It's not in the best quality since the video sometimes blurs, but it'll be the closes we'll get to seeing the show in 3D after the show closes. #MuppetVision3D

Thank you to all the cast members for carrying on Jim Henson's last piece of his legacy for all these years.
Even though I still wish to have experienced it in person, especially in DCA, here's hoping we'll one day see its "next act".

As someone who didn't get to see it in person, I too hope that Disney could bring the show back to the parks someday, and when it does, I'll be there for sure.

I kind of find it clever that the Tomorrowland-inspired architecture blends in with Space Mountain in the background. Also, while I'll miss the 2001 ribbon archway, it's cool to see a large retro sign back on Harbor Blvd. after nearly 25 years.

Yeah, and they should also bring back creative/animated DVD menus, 3-D films that come with the paper color glasses, 2-disc collector's editions, etc..

...forever, unless Disney decides to bring it back in physical form somewhere in their parks in the future.

...because I had plans to visit Walt Disney World THIS WEEK to have that one chance to experience Muppet*Vision 3-D in person before it closes. But since I'm short on cash and other circumstances, I can't seem to make the flight to Orlando, so now I'm worried that I'll miss out on it...

I think Sting would have a field day with that last part.

I heard that Disney recorded the entire show with cast members standing in as guests as a way to preserve the show, likely for Disney+ and/or home media. That's cool too, but here's hoping that Disney can still bring it back in physical form in the future.

Even though Muppet*Vision 3D is going away, and that I missed out on it when it was still in DCA, I do hope that it'll comeback to the parks someday. Disney did it with Captain EO, and they still do it with The Electrical Parade and Soarin Over California, so who's to say they can't do it for MV3D?

Or at the very least, a new Muppets project that includes that particular Clouseau actor as a guest star/cameo

Maybe a dark ride based on H.G. Wells' The Time Machine. The scenes where you see history evolve while traveling through time could be done with projection mapping/2½-D like in Runaway Railway while the rest is 99% practical.
