Looking for answers, not complaints. Drama that changes nothing is a waste of peace and energy. Looking for the road less traveled. Interested in transforming the space under my control and lending support to others doing the same.

This guy should be pissed at himself for believing the lies. Lies that they were warned about. Lies that had been already debunked. Chose to believe them anyway. Because he really voted for white patriarchy because he thought it would help him personally.

Not my job to punish grown ass adults. However, they’ve had these behaviors and they’ve gotten more power and more access and more money from them or despite them. If it just stopped working in their favor, they would quit doing it.

I haven’t seen their actions. Nobody currently will prosecute them.

Sometimes I think compassionate, kind, and caring is the starting point. But then understanding and accepting the different types of cults and institutional patriarchy and racism and genderism takes a lifetime. The depth and breadth is staggering. Mankind can be so evil.

The biggest phrase in legal work is ‘it depends’. It could be skirting that line. In addition that penalty is losing their 501(c)(3) status from the IRS. Who is the IRS do you think is going to do that currently?

I don’t know, a lot of women voted for Trump. Let’s qualify it a little. Plus, that would leave out Pete and I could never agree with that

I’m not seeing patches. Where are their name tags? Are you sure this is not a self formed militia?

I work in the legal department of a 501(c)(3). Public charities are indeed allowed to do policy work.
comment in response to

No, it mentions the two different types of 501(c)(3)’s, (public charity and private foundation) and it mentions that private foundations have many more restrictions. The Heritage Foundation is a public charity, despite its name. Look at the work they do and have done since inception as evidence.

I think this is fascinating. Several states tried to pass legislation to protect the National Guard from being called upon unless Congress had sanctioned war. It wasn’t pursued eventually because federal funding for the National Guard was threatened. I think this will ultimately add clarity.

And then it will get changed back. And all of this cost a lot of money. I hate this partisanship.

You misunderstand the legal issue here. Nextbook Inc is a 501(c)(3) public charity not a 501(c)(3) private foundations. Private foundations cannot engage in policy work. Public charities can.

Because they know it's illegal. They learned from January 6 where so many were in photos all over the internet. This is why a second presidency was such a bad idea. All of the fascists have learned.

Many many of those being picked up are here legally. I think you need to look into the history. And then you have to understand that have the Republicans voted for the bipartisan legislation to reform laws, that they would’ve been doing their job. They aren’t doing their job breaking the law

Also, you can find legal experts sharing information about the legality of it. What he is doing is illegal. But the premise that the president can call up the National Guard is how it’s always been.
comment in response to

No. If I check some balances were working, it would be fine. The federal government pays for a lot of the National Guard cost, and they are part of our national defense. My son is National Guard. So the National Guard is there come up but they cannot assist in domestic law enforcement.

Then you chose delusion over the facts in front of you. Your vote and influence hurt people.

Missouri has legislation working its way through the process that says the military adjutant who advises the governor can call out our National Guard in addition to the governor or president

Arresting people who are peacefully following the legal process. Going so over the top with restraints. I hate seeing this.

That remains to be seen. But I think she would think about it. My honest belief is as things continue to roll out in ways that hurt Maga voters, that some of them will peel off.

Yes. He is still dependent, even though he’s a young adult in college. She is doing damage to their relationship. Nobody likes feeling like a victim and if he has to avoid her to keep from feeling that in the future, he will. And she will wonder why

I think this is the wrong point to belabor. What she is saying is she would not vote for that. Now she knows that’s what she would be voting for. I feel some internal satisfaction at FAFO sometimes, I can’t lie. But we could be more gracious in response.

You mean like he’s still living at home then? Not sure I get what you intend with that comment.

Seems like a really out of place power move/meshed identity. He’s a young adult and she should come when she’s invited. Lacks respect. She will wonder why he doesn’t come around later in life.

Don’t believe the lie that we don’t have the money to fund all schools. That’s just a lie to keep some people uneducated. I refused to scrabble with other parents for educational money in this rich country.

There is a history of both federal and state governments funding religious . Protestants objected because Catholics had a robust school system. No reason why academics is not funded. Here’s the history: www.edchoice.org/wp-content/u...
