No question.

Yes, this. I keep saying this, and similar. I cannot get over the silence of Christians, deluding themselves into thinking that continuing to enable the lawlessness, the cruelty, the mocking of the weak, disabled and vulnerable-- by silence and not loudly opposing it-- is compatible with any of it

It's WILD to watch blindly devoted Republicans,
who just months ago said prices were their #1 immediate concern, now parrot praise of the Beautiful Tariffs & say that they don't care if prices go up and things fall apart because, just wait, Trump is all-wise and is actually fixing it all for us.

Yep! When the Tea Party movement *first* began, it wasn't about right or left, but about principle & integrity, which both parties were violating. As an Independent, I participated at the beginning. Annnd then it veered. My sign yesterday in DC: It's not right v left, it's right v wrong. - C. Booker

More like these people paid. Parking fees to hang out in downtowns, bus fares to get to Washington D.C. to join with others from around the nation... Because they care. Because it matters.

But... aren't they also telling us that all of our jobs are going to be automated and taken over by AI?

Great to see!! I spent a lot of my growing-up years down the road in Wales. It was very Republican back then and, from, what I can tell, still is.

Absolutely. Yet their "partners" are forced into situations repeatedly in which the structure assumes that both people are genuinely present and seeking to cooperate.

Actual Christ-following men know that things like love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness & self-control aren't "feminine" traits. They're what the Bible names as the evidence that God's Spirit is in you.

You have my admiration, respect and gratitude. Thank you for taking this stand for us! (I cried & applauded out loud, alone in my house!)

BIG "IF".
I am so frustrated by Democrats whose main framework for thinking about current events, and sole strategy for stopping the rapid dismantling of our constitutional republic rests on, "we'll get'em in the next election!"

How have you missed the fact that Trump & friends have already plunged millions of Americans into chaos, and that this was your one big chance to stand in the way of them continuing to take us further into the abyss?
100% regret my vote for you

Don't give his "abilities" that much credit. He himself is the most obviously spotted type of con-man narcissist, manipulated easily enough himself. Those influencing him and those to whom he is obligated (oh, say, like maybe some Russians), on the other hand, are masterful in what they are doing.

True. I believe the chilling effect of threat to the universities themselves is the intention for now, but then a sliding definition and acceptance of what is called disruptive and illegal.

In 1994, Ukraine had a lot of CARDS, which we told them to lay down
comment in response to
post
Yeah, many of us who have experienced narcissistic abuse react viscerally to Trump/Vance treatment of Zelenskyy.
And Ukraine had plenty of "cards" prior to 1994... until the U.S., EU & Russia promised that, if they gave up the cards, Ukraine's borders would be honored & protected.

I’m telling you: the Russia-China coalition is how it ends for the U.S. And I do mean ends. Not a ray of sunshine, I realize.

It is Vance, with his more polished gaslighting, condescending tone, and general sliminess that trigger instant, deep visceral reaction. Trump is a clown; Vance is a snake.

"He can be grotesque, but everyone else has to genuflect."
CLASSIC narcissistic abuser attitude, complete with the performative scolding.

** but only because it was "so public." Bad for publicity was the "mistake," not that the "comments" were made.
Should've put on that DARVO bully performance with no cameras and only a few friendly "journalists" to spin what actually happened.

Honestly extremely familiar-feeling for anyone who's experienced a public performative DARVO ambush as part of narcissistic abuse.

Surely delicately teasing out the "fraud, waste and abuse" with the same fine-toothed comb they've been using so far, with total regard for the welfare of human beings, right?

In general, yes. But, especially when you have a wide variety of stations via Sirius + fm, there's also an argument for grouping stations of the same genre together (numerically ordered within each category, OF COURSE). For me, that's news, Latin, etc.

I agree with you. Saying "too late" is typically labeled pessimistic or defeatist, but w/ sober assessment of all of the mechanisms that have already been changed, it's most realistic. Doesn't mean you don't hope or fight, but I appreciate your words of preparation.

There's nothing "cryptic" about it.
And Vance TOLD us that Curtis Yarvin's idea's were the plan. "Delete" our government via retirement of government employees, a "national CEO dictator," and defying judicial authority.
