Trump has never let facts stand in the way of living his life his way. Or personal boundaries. Or laws.

This is what conservative rural America has wanted for a long time. I truly believe this is payback for every progressive step forward since Loving v. Virginia. They were finally able to elect a POTUS to a second term unhinged enough to declare war on cities where progressive movements grow strong.

Now is a perfect opportunity for a PsyOp to goad both Trump and Musk into mutually-assured destruction online, Trump on TruthSocial and Musk on X. If it ruined both platforms, even better.

You forget all of the stock trades Trump encouraged earlier before retreating on tariffs. That may have been the whole ploy, a “pump-and-dump” scheme in reverse. The China part is likely Trump holding a grudge past the exit plan, not realizing the harm. Or not caring. Probably both.

This is the Chicago-born Pope retweeting the current Cardinal of Chicago taking a stand for people who deserve our charity and grace. I’m not Catholic, but this still makes me so happy to be a Chicagoan.
