Our local newspapers are controlled by one entity, and two national conservative media organizations own all of our regional broadcast stations. Living in a ruby-red area, breaking through the wall, and toppling the bias is problematic. I continue to be diplomatic and meet them where they are.

I totally agree, but you have to agree that news that provides essential information requires a subscription. Usually, uninformed individuals can't afford the expense. I no longer watch local news because of the media conglomerate hold.

We live in a global economy and America first will not be prosperous or effective, in my opinion. Hate is a strong word, and I do not hate anyone. I disagree with concepts and approaches, but that does not mean we can not have a conversation, negotiate, and come to an agreement.

Tricky question. If he is accused of sexual assault and multiple witnesses were accompanying her, not him, hotel staff, and sureviencellence video supports his recollection of the event while hers changes…I find it challenging to indict, which they didn't. I recommend reading the actual report.

Transgender females are not a threat. As police reports, indictments, and convictions show, males with substantial influence over a victim or influence, in general, are statistically more of a threat than any letter in the LGBTQIA+ combined. I say that being gay, and we are called “groomers.”

I hate to say this and I disagree with how the Senator approached it, but the witness interview details and video surveillance would corroborate that belief per the police report. Even the text message between the accuser and the recipient is not as the accuser stated.

Will the public hold the Republicans responsible? Republicans control all branches of government, with SCOTUS as the final authority for the judiciary. The horror is that there will be no accountability, and the Democrats will fail to effectively convey that message. It is devastating and unfair.

I read the released police report, and the witness statements, along with the victim's and accused’s accounts, do not match what is being publicized in the media or on social media. However, I do not want to sound like I discredit what may have happened that night and the trauma since.

What state do you reside in? Did the polling precinct provide accessible accommodations for your mother to vote? As a former election official, our precinct was not overly accommodating and placed many hurdles for anyone to receive assistance from individuals who came with the voter.

I am hopeful—very hopeful. Making the president-elect irrelevant would be a positive move. In my opinion, no conservative politician in the pipeline meets the level of “excitement” for the base as this man does. Now, does he provide the platform and enthusiam for another? Maybe. Why was the “bird flu” epidemic not relayed as a point for the price increase? I understand a large segment of the conservative base does not understand supply and demand, but it is plain silly. The extermination of egg-laying chickens was massive.

It is disturbing, but I am hopeful there will be movement. State and federal legislation and opinions should not “mingle” in determining cases. Being an elected official should never be a free path to dismissal, nor should it ensure an immediate delay in sentencing. Gross!
