Well that was one hell of a power outage. Fortunately we had enough port to get us through. Power is back on here in Porto. Gotta say, though, there were panicy vibes and rumors of 72 hours without power. Glad it's over.

I was listening to an Ottawa radio station this morning in the car. Nearly every ad mentioned that the company was "proudly Canadian" or that their products were Canadian sourced. And more than one ad explicitly mentioned tariffs. So basically, Canadians are having none of this shit.

I have zero sympathy for the Trump supporters now whining about losing their benefits or begging for the reinstatement of a program they like. They got us into this mess. And if there were a way to take away everything from their enemies but not their supporters, they'd be all for that.
