AI at the moment is like the Star Trek TNG episode Elementary, Dear Data, where the computer mashes up elements of all the Sherlock into a new story, but Data solves it easily.
The time to worry is when we get an AI Moriarty.

This is a great program. I recommend watching this documentary about it. You won't believe how many people think it's real and the conspiracy theories around it that still persist today.

Stephen Wells actually wrote this about the Daphne & Celeste Reading set "So, sorry, sad no-nobber piss-flinging indie scum - you LOOSE! Ha! Ha ha ha ha ha ha HA!"

They were so loud the only way I could tell which songs they were playing was from the drums when I saw them in Birmingham a few years back.

I'm thinking of resurrecting my Lo-Fi Pop Underground as I've got some article ideas for some forgotten stories and bands for this era as a lot of the websites of that time have been lost.

Bring back music fanzine websites with message boards, favourite links, mailing lists, guest books etc. In the late 90's / 2000's it was fun visiting these sites and discovering new bands and talking about them with newfound friends. Now with social media it's like you are spoon fed content..

I first heard of The Doves when they did Road Movie with Badly Drawn Boy and then bought thier Sea EP expecting even more discordant lo-fi sounds but was blown away how beautiful Sea Song was. It's still one of my favourite songs.

I've mentioned this before but as I'm getting older I was looking forward to a new musical movement like punk that people at the time thought was "noise". But what do I get? Joe Rogan...

Especially when you find out one of his best songs Subterranean Homesick Blues was stolen from George Formby.

I saw the trailer for this film and spotted that they used a Spectrum +2. I didn't bother watching the film as it had such a poor rating.

Introducing the Die Hard Christmas compilation album featuring songs you didn't know were Christmas songs too.
Track 13 - Winter Hymnal - Fleet Foxes.
A song about the French Revolution, what can be more Christmas than that?

I've been doing an alternative Christmas song playlist on bluesky with Christmas songs you didn't know were Christmas songs. I called it the Die Hard Christmas Album. It might be the antidote you need!

I don't have spotify but I put my Amazon music stats in and Godspeed You! Black Emperor, who I listened to the most would have received £1.30 and all the bands I listened to £10.94 combined, but Spotify would have pocketed £120.
Really puts it into perspective.....

Would be interesting if everyone's spotify unwraps showed the actual amount each artist recieved from Spotify for those listens.
