I'm often on shared use paths around Boston and Cambridge and I love a bell, hate a yell. It's much easier to hear the sound of a bell over traffic noise than a human voice. It's not even close. And the more people use bells, the more pedestrians get used to what they're for.

One of the most egregious anti-neurodivergent things is when grocery/big box stores rearrange all the aisles. For why? I had the previous store layout memorized and my list in aisle order for a minimally-stimulating 20min trip! Now it’s an infuriating hour+ jungle survival trek! No thank you!
