I think I like the "boatyness" of the secondary hull.

I know the Oberth class design is bonkers, but I love it. One of my #StarTrekAdventures games is based on it.

We're seeing it in a Northern Irish cinema later today. On the 28th wedding anniversary of friends of ours. So there are multiple options to consider.

For a Star Trek Adventures campaign a few years ago, I made sure the characters ended up using multiple types of transport: trains, riding, surfing, trains, walking, sailing, and did I mention trains?

Me too. Not as much as I used to, as I don't commute daily.

I have literally cried tears of anger at Discord. Took me ages to learn how to use it. Now I use it daily, but it's been a slog for a long time.

I used to go to black tie events wearing a dinner jacket made for my grandfather in the 50s or 60s. He was roughly the same build with shorter arms. Over the years my shoulders outgrew it and COVID ended my previous professional life. I always looked like an East German spy from a 60s Bond movie.

Captain Future. Both options: the 1930s pulp aesthetic or the 1970s anime version. Best in one book.

Lots of us play #StarTrekAdventures. It's a great community. The Lower Decks supplement is pretty popular among the players.

Some years ago, I just decided to ignore weekends and days off. So when the cat wants to cuddle or play at 5:40, he gets what he wants. The practical thing is that I hardly ever need an alarm clock. π

we should not require underskilled people to helm death machines as a part of their day to day!! makes everyone's lives worse

Also, BY THE WAY, in case it wasn't obvious... It's actually not possible to "sensitively" target people and segregate them away from society.

"oh but they don't mean you" - sure, yeah, because I have a job and I'm physically fit, yeah? what if I were to become one of those immigrants who has to be on the dole? what if I end up disabled for whatever reason? what if I end up having a ton of kids with another immigrant? what if? what if?

This is what I answer with every complaint about 'young people' I encounter: They're living in the world we created for them. We commercialised everything around them, sold them their devices and made it nigh impossible to navigate the world without them and relentlessly target them through those.
