Trump being Trump won't understand how they can do that because he doesn't understand the Constitution. How possibly can his wishes be thwarted. He's the president.

If California stops paying its federal taxes, it would probably have more funds than what the federal government doles out to it.

Considering the fact that you could have gone to jail for statutory rape I think you should rethink that.

With the condition of his companies, Musk can't afford to lose his contracts, so Trump's threat could just have been a way to keep Musk in line.

Just so long as he doesn't decide to stick a tiger in the Rose Garden.

Why do they fly flags & wear paraphernalia that reminds every one of their failures? I mean if you didn't succeed at something would you keep throwing it in people's faces to remind them that you were defeated?

If they had the actual figures they would produce them.

No one is asking him to apologize for being white, just to be a decent human being.

Those Labradors. It was as if the one was saying, "snitch, snitch."

Happy anniversary to you both. My mother's name was Gwen. My parents were just 9 months shy of their 50th when my dad died back in 2007.

Love it. Yarn has gotten so expensive I don't do afghans anymore unless I know for sure I'm going to finish it.

Until I read a book several years ago, I'd always thought the Marquis de Lafayette was somewhere around Washington's age when he joined the Revolution. Image my surprise when I found out he was only 19.

When they put in their insurance claim what do they say? I dropped it & an otter stole it.

Knew Musk's opposition was self-serving. He could care less that over 10 million Americans will be kicked off of their healthcare. He could care less if American children get free school lunches or that veterans have a place to live. His only interest in this bill is how it affects him.

Funny. I thought he said he had evidence.

Everything Trump touches dies.

After that Reagan was elected president & it's been downhill for education ever since.

Trump's always wrong about something.

I've never been able to figure out why those with the most salivate over seeing to it that those with the least have nothing.

Trump & his minions don't seem to care that those Confederate racists killed United States soldiers. The Cornerstone speech of Confederate VP Alexander Stephens showed exactly what they were as did the Confederate Constitution. Is it any wonder they would rename the U.S.S. Harvey Milk?

Republicans only wanted to please Trump. They didn't care about what was in the bill. They all seem to forget who they work for & it isn't him.
comment in response to post
These representatives are being paid to read these bills, not to be led around by the nose by GOP leadership telling them how to vote & what to vote for. They work for their constituents & they are supposed to do what is in their constituents' best interests.
comment in response to post
Because Republicans have been screaming for decades that Socialism is bad & so people get it into their heads that Republicans are on their side & they vote against their own self interests.

Trump is driving us back into the Dark Ages. God only knows how long it will be before they start calling scientists heretics.

Trump has been causing "mental anguish" to millions of Americans for 9 years. Perhaps we all should sue him.

The Boss. In fact, I wouldn't believe he's 75.

Religion never went away so how could Trump bring it to people?

During the American Civil War, a woman named Sarah Emma Edmonds fought disguised as a man. She was at the 1st Battle of Bull Run.

Does this dweeb know that according to the Constitution the President of the United States is supposed to see to it that THE LAWS ARE FAITHFULLY EXECUTED & it's not a suggestion that he respect our laws & that goes for everyone who serves this country.

Why do these people fly a flag that reminds every one of their failures? It was Lee who surrendered to Grant, not the other way around.

It's not your own government, twit. It's Trump. He's the one doing it. Can't help but think this person is a Trump supporter. They'll do anything but blame him.

When you have the means & resources to stop unnecessary deaths through medication & treatments you use them. At least a society with any humanity in it does.

Would Casablanca have the same feel if you replaced Humphrey Bogart & Ingrid Bergman or Anthony Perkins in Psycho? Somethings just aren't meant to be duplicated or remade.

Looks just like my Shadow. None of the other cats crossed the queen & the dog found he got slapped on the head several times when he tried to tease her.

You can tell this guy has never read the Constitution.

Couldn't stand the man 40 years ago. No way I was going to watch his show let alone vote for him.

As I've said if you've got the resources to stop unnecessary deaths you use them.

Knew it was just a matter of time before the target changed from Illegal immigrants who are criminals to illegal immigrants who are being law abiding citizens even if they are here illegally.
comment in response to post
Why these people fly a flag that represents their failure I have no idea.

When you have the means to stop unnecessary death you use it, you sanctimonious twerp.
