Fedora switched default podman storage driver quite some time ago, in middle of 2021 But overlay driver was incompatible with vfs, so one had to wipe podmans storage to switch, and they didn’t do it automatically. … and I had an installation older than that, and found out in July 2024

Damn, I really liked it. Felt like a proper “container-age make”, both for building and scripting.

I haven’t done that, but I’d try something like this: Build and push them separately under different single arch tags, combine them to single manifest with podman manifest create and podman manifest add, push that manifest Probably skopeo can do that too

Or you could use MP3Loop, which does several nice things, like priming codec with last frame instead of silence, such that resulting samples would loop perfectly Looks like site is alive, and you can even download 725 KiB ZIP file for Microsoft Windows www.compuphase.com/mp3/mp3loops...

If you want to make a gapless BGM in Flash, and you don’t want to send WAV over Internet you could use MP3, but you have to DIY it by loading samples from MP3, setting start-end and feeding samples manually, because Flash player would just decode everything from file an feed as is Or …

I remember dealing with MP3 codec delay back in a Flash days … 13 years ago

> IP address in a country you’re not in Also that, but with a twist: it’s not “something needs”, like tax authorities, but “something interferes”, like a state firewall

Oh, I would definitely end up with “all reposts, no posts” label I mean, even if it’s objectively true, I’m not a bot, and will be sad if marked as one.

> we should be calling it "reconcilated mode" Yes! I used to call react a “immediate-retained converter”: you can’t just slap unidirectional thingy on top of stateful DOM and call it immediate

Isn’t “being able to enjoy” that secret ingredient in some sense? Like, “do what you enjoy” is an easy advice, but what if enjoying is hard?

I did one side project back in 2019, consumer device firmware on top STM32 and FreeRTOS. Only “payload” part was on Rust. One of highlights: it could be built as Linux exe, with all peripherals replaced with single Unix socket, and there was harness around launch/reset and UI emulation in browser

Went to check if there’s a Clippy lint for that cast, found cast_possible_truncations, allow by default. It’s time to become more pedantic!

AFAIR, division by zero leading to infinity without panic is just default exception handling in IEEE754, so okayish. Converting to integer outside of target range is invalid operation, I would expect it to be checked in debug, but LLVM by default assumes no-side-effects floats, so no flags.

О, дехансер давно лежит в закладках! Но линуксовая сборка только для давинчи, пихать туда фотки неудобно, а ставить винду некуда. Остановился на sony film simulation recipes от Veres Deni Alex
