I definitely think it would make sense to bring the G back to Queens during weekends/overnights. Not sure about weekdays because 71st Ave likely won’t be able to turn the G and R any better than it currently turns the M and R. Maybe have the R run weekdays only and the G can run when the R doesn’t.

There’s a giant billboard on the LIE just after you get out of the tunnel that says “vote only” Andrew Cuomo on one side (it says Mamdani is “soft” on crime on the other). Wonder if that’s this guy or his followers.

I think it’s nearly 40 percent. It would be a hell of a task to find a new source to replace all that revenue. I could see going fare free if it were around 10 percent, like in Kansas City.

Electing Cuomo is the same as letting the loser you broke up with back in your bed.
Don't do it.

But somehow, state legislators had $600 Million to give to billionaires Jimmy and Dee Haslam for their new stadium for the Browns, which is not even in Cleveland (it will be in the suburb of Brook Park).

Well, at Brooklyn Bridge, when you exit from the north end of the platforms, you actually have to go downstairs to the turnstiles then walk back upstairs to exit at Lafayette and Reade streets by Foley Square.

I really don’t think you should remove the trolley tracks on Erie Avenue. You should restore trolley service to Route 56. It definitely has the ridership to justify trolley service and Erie is wide enough to have trolley-only lanes free of interference from cars and trucks.

You called for this sex pest’s resignation just four years ago when he was the governor. Now you want him back as the mayor???
Make it make sense!!!

Very foolish thing to do. RTA, don’t take away rail service to such a large swath of the city, not to mention one its airports. In NYC, we’d kill for a subway to LaGuardia. You’ve already got rail service to your LaGuardia. Don’t take it away. Why not combine Orange and Brown into a single service?

That’s a foolish thing to do. At least combine Orange and Brown into a single service. Why would they abandon rail service to such a large chunk of the city AND one of the its airports?

Has that whiny old crow ever lived anywhere not on the East or West Coasts? Cause I really don’t think he could handle actually living somewhere off the coasts.

I first saw the proposal in a 2020 report done by STV. They proposed running six 8 trains per hour and ten 5 trains per hour, so I could see them turning 16 tph total at New Lots.

They could always start the 8 at Nereid Ave instead of East 241 in The Bronx. I read in the 2020 study that 2/8 line on time performance would be significantly lower than the other A Div lines because of having more trains turning at 241. Then both services have a different terminal at both ends.

I mean, if they’re really concerned about 8 sounding too similar to A on PA announcements, they could always reuse 9.

London? What would they even be able to do with those buses in London? The doors and the steering wheel are on the wrong sides.

No we shouldn’t and no they’re not! He and they are nowhere near as responsible for this mess as the current guy in the Oval Office and HIS people are. Don’t “both-sides” this!

CNN (and all the other news channels) is BLOCKED on my cable. Looks it’s going to stay that way for some time to come.

This shit wouldn’t even be an issue if your network and the other fucking cable networks (ALL of which are BLOCKED on my cable, btw) hadn’t given the Orange Attention Whore exactly what he wanted after he lost the 2020 election (that’s right, LOST, in case you try to forget what happened)!
