Happy Mother's Day!!! It meant so much to me to write a MC in THE LAST HOUR BETWEEN WORLDS who was a new mom—not a dead mom, a disappeared mom, a retired-from-adventure-mom, or an evil mom, but a mom trying to figure out how to still be her own badass self and save the world on two hours of sleep.

So after some agonizing, I am not (as of yet) pulling out of WorldCon. I've already booked travel, and I don't want the decision of a few to spoil it for the many...Plus it's going to be my daughter's first WorldCon, and I don't want to lose that. (Total respect to those who do pull out, though.)

I am hugely disappointed that a convention celebrating SFF creators would use a tool built upon the stolen work of those creators. Given the number of people I know who were rejected from the program despite being immensely qualified, I also have my doubts that this returned useful results.
