I often think about NASA and CSA and how crazy it was that the contacted some kid in Thunder Bay who wrote them by mail. You don’t see those types of things these days, but it sure was inspirational.

I still have their autographs somewhere and may even have a few of those NASA books. I’ll try to dig some of the material out this summer and pop them up to archive.org

They also told me that Marc Garneau was going to be passing thorough my town (who knows why they were there) and they wanted to arrange for a meet and great. Things got coordinated and I got to meet both Marc Garneau and Ken Money, who was another longtime member of the Canadian space program.

I received a wooden crate delivered by a truck and a trolly. There was dozens of books in there, many which appeared to be different promotional material for the program and future intimates they had planned. They even photocopied what appeared to be the user manual for the space shuttle lol

Like many kids, I was super in to space. I also was pretty open with sharing with anyone my passion and someone suggested I should write NASA. So I quickly did so and requested they send me any free information they could on the space program. And boy did they…

If they backdate him on the 60 day DL they don’t have to drop someone from the 40 man today to move Yarborough to the roster.

Every show I attend I try to grab at least a few songs in spatial video.

Every major concert should have a 360 camera in the sound booth, in a good seat, and on the stage. Even if not fully directed, tonnes of hardcore fans would sign up in seconds to tour subscriptions and archives of their favourite bands. I’m baffled this hasn’t happened yet.

While it wasn’t super spelled out he did basically say that:
“I hope the chances of having to use our stockpile are small. But if we no longer need this insurance, we can eat it.”

Good for you. You could have easily stood by and done nothing. Instead, you chose to step up, may have saved someone’s life, and potentially started the steps that may even lead to a potentially ill person getting the aid (or oversight) they need to be a safer person.

My wife bought me a subscription with full archive access for my birthday last year and I absolutely love it. Great purchase for horror fans. Every issue has been lots of fun.

I’ve had a poor week on Wordle. Lots of 4’s and even failed one a week ago.

Liberals & NDP didn’t bother to post bios for my riding either. Only the greens. My riding tends to swing too. The lack of prep for an election by both parties is frustrating. I spent 15 yrs on the provincial mental health lobby and I had to look up the NDP leaders name when the election was called.

This was such a great film. Romy and Michelle’s High School Reunion is getting a sequel, so maybe that will spark the idea in others as well.

Still waiting for his promised rendition of Oh Canada. Hopefully they built that into his contract.

I saw someone else’s first word so admittedly I changed it up a wee bit this morning, so I’d say this was technically in 4

There are a couple of insurers who I believe are doing this deliberately to try to bully psychologists and other para-medical professionals from working with their clients. I’ve done some work with some rehab centres that have a black list of insurers for this exact reason.

You got me on this one! My second word MOUND was less helpful, think I’ll switch to MOUNT when the first one hits nothing.

If you’re looking for the mini series before campaign 1 and 2, it doesn’t appear to be on Beacon (2 and 3 are). Found it on Apple Podcasts on their traditional feed though.
