I wish I could find the article I read about it once, but it's actually been updated. The original was even more retro-futuristic.

Bonus of moving new year's day to March 1st is Sept, Oct, Nov, and Dec move back to being the 7th, 8th, 9th, and 10th months of the year respectively, so their names would make sense again.

My wife on the way home tonight: "If society is going to be destroyed by someone evil, why did it have to be someone so stupid and dumpy? Why not a super villian in stylish Hugo Boss outfit that pets a cat?"
Me: "Yeah, instead we get spray tan comb over in an ill fitting suit."
