If you're so good at GEO, why don't you start your own LLM?

I hate those "SEO is changing" posts. It's as if SEO hasn't changed in decades and is suddenly changing now. It changed with every Google update. Where have you been?

Glasses fam! πŸ€“ How do you de-grease your lenses? Wipes? Ultrasonic? Old-school soap & water? Share your wisdom! πŸ‘‡#CleanGlasses

Knowledge is worthless until you apply it, observe the outcomes, and learn from the consequences.

To clearly and accurately determine which "optimization" camp marketers belong to, I suggest using the familiar pronoun approach beforehand. Use acronyms such as SEO, GEO, AIO, and LLMO instead.

πŸ‘‡

The difference between SEO and GEO is that with #SEO, you write for people. In contrast, with #GEO, you need to write for machines. But didn't we mainly write for machines with SEO anyway?

I think Google could pay homage to prominent SEO figures by naming their algorithm updates after them. These updates could be named after people like Glenn Gabe, Lily Ray, Marie Haynes, Jono Alderson, etc... For example, the Dejan Petrovic update sounds good, doesn't it?

They say that backlink analysis is fun.

Who is the best SEO in Europe?

Don't shoot the messenger, but the manufacturers of gas-powered cars opposed electric vehicles. Similarly, the manufacturers of vinyl records opposed CDs. Now, SEOs oppose AIOs and AI mode. Those who invest in their technology will always oppose new developments β€” that's how it's always been.

You learn nothing from success. You only learn from failures.

Have you ever done (or published) something that ChatGPT or other LLMs said/gave and then regretted it? If so, what was it?

It's that moment when someone tries to sell a tire shop owner an unbeatable tire deal. They know rubber, roads, and bullshit. It's the same vibe when an #SEO pro receives that email: "Your website is invisible! WE CAN FIX IT!" 1/2

This reminds me of Fiverr links and keyword research in LLMs.

Why do people release new podcast episodes all the time when, according to the popular narrative, they should focus more on updating their existing content?

Vibe Hat SEO I just coined the term. We should use it more often to better describe processes and tactics.

People will do anything to avoid doing anything.

Booking has been pushing this dump on me for as long as I can remember. What could this mean? Are there any tarot readers around who can explain it?

I can't help but smile every time I see Ahrefs displaying these two conflicting metrics. How can you easily rank for a keyword with such a high search volume? #SEO

Doing vibe SEO increases the likelihood of ranking or deranking faster, depending on your #SEO skills IRL.

KW analysis gone wrong

Where did the "20 skills you should learn in 2025" type posts go? I no longer see them.

Repeat after me: there is no such thing as ANSWER ENGINE and GENERATIVE ENGINE

I see these 3 types of SEO posts on LinkedIn, kind of a pattern: 1. From young, Western looking people: "Our AI agent will do SEO while you sleep." 2. From young, Asian-looking people: "10 ways to write a meta description." 3. From older, western-looking people: "Just get the basics right."

If people lied a little less, there would be a lot less "zero to hero" posts.

The more expensive a #marketing or #SEO service is, the lower the organizational rank of the person who typically makes the purchase decision. If a service costs as little as $100, the business owner often makes the purchase directly. 1/3

I see experienced SEOs looking for jobs but can't find them for long Do you think it's because hiring #SEO managers don't want SEOs who are smarter and more experienced than them, or is it more related to ageism, where younger teams don't want older people to join them? Or what's your explanation?

People will do anything to get that click

SEO is not a sprint - it's ping pong.

SEO, AEO, GEO, LLMEO... People miss the real thing - GGG: GENERATIVE GENERATOR GENERATION

Everyone seems to be doing vibe coding now, but who's doing vibe debugging?

Hard times create good SEOs, good SEOs create good times, good times create AI SEOs, AI SEOs create hard times. #SEO

Today I tried vibe vibing... and it's amazing! Nothing else comes close. Highly recommended.

Backing up the backup HDDs from the 2014. It's fun, good thing I had 3 copies of these.

Negative SEO is whining that SEO is dead.

As a former composer and musician, I can explain what others don't understand. When you're an artist, you enjoy the process and you do it because you can't live without it. The music is inside you, you have to "release" it, make it material... Artists will continue to create.

The moment you get to a page about setting up conversion tracking in GA4 that starts with what GA4 is... And then these SEO people wonder why AI overviews get added to their SERPs and why people go to LLMs...
