My favourite football teams playing a friendly game. Who do I want to win? Don’t really care but it would amuse me greatly if PNE won.

Is there a switch marked ‘SINGLE MARKET’ anywhere? Top marks all round, including Morten, for effort.

The number of cars with extremely high bonnets is “very disproportionate” in the UK, the report found. The UK made up 15% of all new car sales in Europe in 2024, but 39% of sales of cars with bonnets higher than 100cm. Land Rover models represented 85% of 63,000 cars with bonnets 100cm or higher.

In crashes, high-bonneted SUVs are more likely to strike the vital organs in the core of adults’ bodies and the heads of children. Hitting pedestrians above their centre of gravity means they are more likely to be knocked forward and down and then be driven over.

I listened to the BBC Radio Manchester commentary of the Oldham Athletic v Southend United playoff final at Wembley. Exciting game with excellent commentary.
Took me back to those days before Sky Sports "...and your commentators are Bryan Butler and Peter Jones..."

This is the same Simon Jenkins in 2016 imploring us to get out of the EU.

Obscene waste of money. Hopefully the Brexit nightmare is nearing its end.
