I know!!! Went to my fav Chinese Restaurant, Dublin Dragon, and the owner Bob Sullivan said he was tariffed for "feeling Chinese." I had to pay 13.40 instead of $10 for my Orange Chicken.
Next time I will go get TACOs

Long ago I was told that cutting taxes on the "rich" creates jobs because it creates capital and businesses then hire more people. Problem is that the vast majority of "rich" are not business owners who would hire anyone. They are simply people who work for another business and hire no one.

I wrote something today... No one actually care about that and that is ok.
It was about people who write stuff using AI. How they are cheating themselves. By not actually putting in the work they will not be an expert in what they wrote about. Happy that Anna does not use AI to write anything.

People who rely on AI to do work like that are cheating themselves from learning & accomplishing more. Its pretending to be smart & that only works as long as it takes to get a question that the AI knew but you never bothered to learn. Then the truth comes about.

Not there for the Rose Festival, It docked in February. Two other DDGs are there for the Rose Festival.

Been saying that for months. DDG-56 John S McCain put into port near Portland on 2/16/25 and has not left. Odd to moor a front line Navy ship at a Navy Reserve base for so long. I've thought it was to rename it or let it sit so it cannot accidentally do anything heroic.

UKR could have told him but Russia probably would have found out about it.

USS John S McCain DDG-56 put into Portland in mid-February and has not left. Unusual for a front line USN ship to sit that long at a Naval Reserve base. Wonder if it because it is McCain. Name change underway? Just keeping in port to avoid it accidentally doing something heroic? Love to know...

Uneducated opinion but based on my own experience, you are doing positive things. Staying in touch with what is going on, meeting it head on. If not besting it, learning to live and thrive with it. Keep going forward. :)

Me too lol that is the biggest reason. But yeah in live drafts it is a cruelty I do not mind inflicting on others.
comment in response to
post
From a strategy standpoint, I like to pick as fast as possible to put pressure on others to rush their picks. Yes, more important for Live Drafts but still, it can get habitually slow drafters caught out in slow drafts from time to time.

100% right, GOP plays to win. Democrats too often play be gentlemanly or using old school political methods and customs. Example being Schumer and any one else who seems to only want to hide. My Rep, Bonamici is a good example too. Playing to win is AOC, Bernie, Bowman, and a FEW others
comment in response to

Too often far left Dems wont vote for the candidate who is close to their views & has a chance of winning but rather voting for the "Perfect" candidate or not voting. See Bush winning due to Nader votes. People who stayed home or voted for Stein instead of Biden didn't help.

Stadium music was Tony Bennett, "I left my heart in SF" I was beside myself for Erik and the pain in my heart. Hid in a bathroom at Oracle park for awhile. The older I get the more I feel the pain of others and of loss or what could have been. Anyway, thanks for reading this, it helped to say it 2/2

Its ok to cry. As mentioned a friend (Erik) passed last Jan. We finally all met for the Celebration of Life in the Bay area last wknd and part of it was a Giants game. (Erik loved the Giants) Giants won on what has been coined the 'Little League Homer" Afterward 1/2

Besides that, awhile back you treated me with respect and kindness when you could have blown me off. That showed who you are inside. Kudos to you on being a good human.
Anyone who reads this. Say nice things to people often. be kind

Sorry for the delay sir. It seems to have always been the case where people say negative things to others more than positives. I'm on a crusade to more often tell people positive things so at the end of the day, they can think back on it & feel good. We all deserve that. 1/2

Yep, have not put their Reach picks on the board yet. Love watching them celebrate ("We are geniuses! ) after an early pick is made that they could have gotten 10 picks to a whole round later.

FF player who understands how/why metrics work & rely on an Asst GM/Scouting staff for "real" FB info developed from being close to the game for years. Certainly there are plenty of FF players that could do the job of Cap-ologist. Some current GMs are examples of "real" experience not helping at all
comment in response to

A long time ago I subscribed to the theory that a GM with "real" experience in the sport, down in the weeds, would do the job better than a FF GM. Not anymore. Now I think the "correct" person who only has FF experience could do the job as well. Use those innate abilities from being a stellar FF 1/2
