And op-ed writer for The New York Times, Ross Douthat, is today railing against the New York legislature that has finally, after years of advocacy, sent the bill to the governor for signature. His angle? Slippery slope. And, he calls it euthanasia. The 600+ comments on that piece are derisory.

Chad Loader raised a good point about the logic of your argument, that if Kamala had won this attack would not have happened. But since Israel genocided Gaza on their watch that logic implies they supported it. Is that a reasonable take?

I spent an entire morning w Ravi Shankar at a small college in nowhere Kansas (1971). About 10 ppl were there for a seminar on raga but I was balls tripping on acid and I’m sure he knew it bc he completely ignored me. It was an interaction only he didn’t know it.
