My dad told me he was due to go the Christmas Island but when he said my mum was a legal secretary, miraculously he didn’t have to go. If I had a suspicion mind……I hope they get justice. My dad was lucky.

The question was ‘ should they or should they not have the power’. Not ‘ do they or do they not’. No need to know if they do or not to answer the question. If they do have power is another question which wasn’t asked. It’s a question not a discussion.

I lived in France and Spain, and speak a little of both. It’s a lottery which one will come out, when I speak, or it could be a bit of both, maybe even a bit of German thrown in 😂

There are children at my daughter’s school with parents who can’t heat the whole house. They certainly can’t afford private dentists so maybe give that some thought first!

I don’t see how you can police it. A lot already have access, it’s going to be impossible to say they are not using it. How is it going to work, under 16s are unlikely to tell the truth about their age when signing up? Unfortunately I think the genie is already out of the bottle.
