One of the bigger companies Brave Group has been buying out all the mid sized companies that over expand.
When they do they give talents the options of staying on but giving them a bigger cut of the money, pay blatantly inflated sums to buy their character IP, or quit and lose the character.

If they framed it as a hearing to determine is he even could be legally stand trial (which as you said, in this episode he could not) that would have been something at least.

Booster is 100% pro-reg. It’s better publicly and secret identities are all already public knowledge in his time.

There is an active court case for trans Americans to apply for asylum in Canada but that’s going to take a long time to get sorted.
(Also maybe not the safest option since the far right is official opposition and basically everyone agrees they would have won if Trump didn’t shoot them in the foot).

I watched Brandon Sanderson’s creative writing lectures reposted on a forum in the early 2010s.
I saw other people watching the same videos talking about building whole ass wikis before even starting a story.
I despise world building on a deep fundamental level and cannot read his books.

The best thing XCOM 2 did was being like “We have the stats from the first game, we know you collectively lost that war more than you won.”

You know the cliche how people making mecha things who don’t know the genre say “This is a story about the people, not the robots.” And everyone dunks on them?
Lancer is the mythical story about the robots. Your pilot basically does not exist.

Brought up semi-frequently as the only good edition and used as the mechanical inspiration for the most insufferable mecha TTRPG?
