I'm a big fan of movies, video games, and sports in IL. I can be a bit of a brat and a party girl, and I love to shop. Occasional silver fox hunter.

I used to do it on twitch while I gamed but there's no way I'd want to do it as a series.
There are people way better suited to that.

It just depends on if it's more Penguin or Black Adam.

I've still got to do it. The only ones I'm skipping are ones I can't get my hands on. There's a couple that I can't.

That's because Mike Flanagan took over and he's a beast.

I'm taking the good with the bad.
There are some awesome deep cuts coming up that a lot of people have never heard of for sure.

I'm going through the whole Blumhouse horror catalog (plus a few outliers). That means there's some bangers and some oofs.
I mean on one hand we get Sinister coming up, but that also means we get Sinister 2. Later we get the reverse where we get the mid Ouija but the good Ouija 2.

He only directed the first two. Chaves takes over after that.
I'll fit those in eventually. I've only got 130ish movies to get through first.

I watched the first one earlier.

I don't remember off hand. I haven't watched Insidious Chapter 3 in awhile.
I'm confusing everyone by listing my Blumhouse ride by parts. Insidious Chapter 1 is part 3 of like 130. I'm a long way away from Insidious 3.

One of my favorite things about Insidious is that it really gave Lin Shaye a major push into the spotlight.

He's been really consistent. More than a lot of directors/producers over a stretch like that.

We haven't even had 'story time with bay bay' lately.
Though I'm kind of thankful for that.

Every time he starts to do something, it fades away and nothing happens.
He beat Danny for the TNT title and had one match since, a title defense against Claudio. That didn't even lead to a real brush with the Deathriders.

I'm torn on the Gunn Club.

I would love to have someone win it and then declare it would only be defended in four ways. That would be fun as hell.

I think of it as the Cody Effect.
The crowd is going to do what it's going to do.

Cole could be giving good bumps to midcard guys and it wouldn't be hard to do at all. That's what I thought was going to happen with Sammy.
Even just open challenges would be fine.
comment in response to

Sammy stood there doing the 'I want the title' gesture and instead we're getting more of him and Dustin.
I'd rather have seen Cole/Sammy

Exactly, the winner picks the stipulation. You want best of 3, fine. You want a cage, fine. I Quit? Sure.

Let the winner pick the stipulation would be a good reward too.

I think Brody would treat it like OC did with the International. That was an amazing title run.

Cole doesn't even have anyone gunning for him. That's why his schtick was really funny.

This is going to be an unpopular opinion but if/when they merge those two, they need to redo the Continental Classic and not have the belt be part of it.
comment in response to

Those titles feel stagnant right now too.
It needs a big name. Let Jay White or someone on that level take it and just blow it up like OC did with the International.
comment in response to
post
That's what got me thinking about it too.
I want Swerve or Hanger or Jay White to come in and take it. Turn it into one of those 1B titles that get hotly contested.

I'm the last person to comment on Indiana. My bio dad lives there and my view of it is... uh... biased.
I think Indianapolis is pretty nice.

It just depends on what you're looking for. There are ones that are walkable, some that are sketchy, some that are more industrial, etc.

I don't think there's a best answer for that.

Those Chris Columbus/John Hughes movies are always around Winnetka. That's like snooty-mcsnootsville.

I can overpay for restaurants and movies and things in the burbs and not have to drive or take the train down.
I'm not all that touristy so once I've seen the museums, I've seen them.

When the choices are Cru or Dustin/Sammy, it's still two teams that aren't winning anytime soon.

Unless it's going to a Bears or Cubs game, I avoid the city like the plague.

When they first showed up it was a major disappointment. I'm was really surprised when they showed up the other night out of nowhere.
