You would want to check your facts!
And my last reply was in relation to structures.

It is the one that is the most adaptable to change."

The Palestinian authority are donkeys. They had their chances but blew them. The reason is that unlike the Palestinians in the East Bank, aka Jordan, they think they can eliminate Israel.

Dunno. The Palestinians and particularly Hamas are hardly blameless. Hamas would certainly prefer the population of Gaza to starve to death before they would give up looking for the elimination of all Jews.

1. Every Israeli government would have hit Gaza hard, and not without reason.
2. He keeps that war going to stay in power
3. If he had not gotten back in power he would already be in jail.

He will do everything possible to stay out of jail and in power, but I suspect that sooner or later that road will end and unlike in all other countries in that region he will be convicted.

They are only needed if perpetuating of the existing structures is the goal.
Continuing as before when the world has changed is rarely the right thing to do!

Good luck with that but you didn't deal with my comments and yes I know the complexity and perhaps better than you!

When it comes to both beef and dairy we produce vastly more than needed. And yet there hedges ripped out and wetlands drained in Ireland every single day to try to produce more. The environment is not a key concern.

I know the IFA playbook. Been there (former office holder) and got the t-shirt, so don't gaslight me with that.
No other sector gets as much subsidies, and no other sector is as intransigent.

So you are favour of some imperialist post Mullah intervention!?

That is the reality. Not sure what planet you are on?
Good riddance to the Mullahs!

Iraq has a completely different history and make up. Persia has been around a lot longer and isn't an artificial creation by a couple of guys with a ruler! Also, I don't expect Israeli boots on the ground....

Spot on!

I am much more optimistic about Iran without the crazy Mullahs.

P.S why not repurpose the existing supports, that have little rationale other than political expediency, to incentives real environmental benefits?

A problem for the Iranians (same goes for russia). Iranians are far cleverer, and civilised, than you seem to think (both qualities lacking in russia).

Not sure why anyone other than Iranians should have to fix Iran?

Reminder: there is no such thing as a free lunch, only a lot of people trying to get others to pay for theirs. Agriculture already gets many billions.

That is kind of what I meant. I can't see why I should pay for it. They can pass the cost on.

And why would the polluters not pay for it???

Unless you expect Germany to make pre-emptive strikes I can't see any issue.

Law suits about what. It is a press statement about the actions of another country.
