I know that this was (from a practical writing standpoint) not the wisest use of time in the second episode of only eight, with so much left to set up. But this is one of those things you know they fought to put in for the fans. It is almost word-for-word from the book and deeply beloved.

This is a great thread for people interested in writing for established IP! It also explains why I just really am not. There are several things in here that are so wildly outside my skill set, I would be a disaster. IP is such a specific skill, and folks who can pull it off amaze me!
