Whenever I tell someone that all teens should watch the movie "Requiem for a dream", I remind them that it shows that not every person who goes to the hospital will get better. They sometimes get worse. Not all drug use works out "therapeutic".

We played "ninja" at night.
2 teams of 4 people with 2 bases.
We dressed in black & made makeshift ninja hoods.
You capture enemies by grabbing them & wrestling them back to your base. Whoever catches the other team wins.
It covered the whole block.
Teammates can free you if captured.

She was respected for being a good nurse. There's a difference. I've worked in medicine for 35yrs. There are plenty of shitty people who are still good staff.
They only acted nicer to do the right thing. The character was still a horrible person.

I've worked with BAD leaders who had the audacity to complain that they never got invited to "hang out" with junior staff or weren't included in group chats.
Yeah..there's a cost to being in charge and being bad at it.

Now..as for Unions...yes, they are good. But not everyone IN the union is automatically good. My Uncle was a UAW treasurer and I liked visiting him on vacations. Then I learned he's an avid tRumper. I stopped talking to him.
