I wrote this funny book about trips to The Vatican, Monaco, Luxembourg, Gibraltar, Finland etc. Better than it needed to be. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ https://www.amazon.co.uk/World-Less-Travelled-Unexpected-Destinations/dp/1091486786/ref=sr_1_2?crid=1UTIQS8A22JDX&dib=eyJ2Ij

Just had to buy specially issued sports equipment for my son's school's new tennis courts. It's a racket.

Have just done a little side-by-side. Are you *sure* they're all different? :)

There's a VERY underrated one out there. I (humblebrag) wrote a proper length book and then had to work out what font was best for it. Cambrian was *absolutely* perfec - like a 21st Century TNR. Thank you for not bringing C**** S*** into it.

Now do Times New Roman to Arial.

Be the goalkeeper, it's what I've always done. Zero running around, but when you're on, you HAVE TO nail it. It's like being a comedian, the penalty area is your stage, and the six yard line your mic stand.

I'd be delighted if there were just an 'Oxford' and 'Cambridge' team, like there is just a 'Durham', 'Lancaster' etc. How are we meant to root for one of Wolfson v Downing?

To immediately know this (left) is from the Philippines flag and not Czechia (right). I mean, come ON. And that was one of the easier questions.

Regular quizzer here. Astonished at how they (at 20ish) were *all* debating possible answers to questions whose categories I was failing to understand. And I went to one of those unis. Mild spoiler below...

Bearing in mind where you live (digitally) 'Hated in the Nation' is VERY up your street. 👍

I *definitely* remember both a bus ticket and a chocolate bar costing 20p.

I'm so old, I can remember when the only option was a 330ml can for 50p. Nothing wrong with being restricted to 330ml of sugar water.

Ok...researchers identified the least liked elements of music - bagpipes, warbly sopranos, catchy jingles etc, then commissioned a composer to make the most unwanted music. One of the elements is that it's overly long! youtu.be/-gPuH1yeZ08?...

Simpler times. Better than it needed to be, though.

Worse than that. Worst music ever made.

It's so engrossing that my TV decided to alert me to the fact that I hadn't touched the remote control for so long. Not that it knew that I didn't know where it was, so that was fun.

Think there's a law that (somewhat counterintuitively) insists that the cleaner transfers employer when you change provider so they get to keep their job (a nice law, really).

100% this. I had a summer job as a kayaking instructor, we had the kids for a week, and taught them all the strokes, promising that Friday would be Assessment Day for the certificate. Fri morning, we said "Well done, you can do all the strokes - here's your certificate, let's play games!" Winner.

I genuinely like the fact that TM gives unhearalded comedians the spotlight (rather than just Avalon), but we could all name a dozen people we've wanted to see on / would be AMAZING (Ayoade, Mitchell, Larwood, Wehn etc etc) but instead they just plump for names who aren't - in themselves - a draw.

I've watched every TM, even been to a couple of recordings. If I were stuck in a lift with these five, I wouldn't know who any of them are. Hope the chemistry is white hot!

Some sense to this. ANY garment under £20, any shoes under £30, any coat under £40. What else are we meant to do?

Genuinely delighted for him - We Need Answers deserved more attention than it got, then Monsieur Butterfly & Lies were v well put-together. I could name a dozen superb comedians who are labouring in almost total obscurity and it's a shame there isn't room for them all.
