How could she stand on such wide grates in heels?!

I hate it but I also cannot emphasize enough how difficult & expensive it is to adequately moderate an image-only platform. It is grueling, not to mention how it can traumatize people. A little ML use here makes sense

That's cute! I would love for more groups like that to pop up. We could all use a lil' more comeraderie.

I would also like this. I like to keep artists, game devs, and doomposting (politics and news) in different sections but don't want to offend folks putting them in the doom list!!

I notice you're good about providing a little bounce light on all round edges. Another artist said that in most situations there is enough ambient light to brighten one or both outer edges at least a little bit, and I think that really helps make your forms feel extra 3D.

Wow, that really is a good pitch. I hope corporate meddling doesn't prevent it from being accessible to everyone.

Oil & auto lobby will go insane but it's also hard to imagine it won't be wildly popular with voters

If you leave the popcorn kernels in one spot they'll burn instead of popping, so you need to constantly move them. You can't just stir in an open pot though because once it was popping it would fly out everywhere. (I think normally people just swirl the pot/pan around instead)

It's almost impossible to find quality furniture unless you are a great thrifter. Even the bigger, more expensive retailers like Ashley are producing a lot of veneered or mdf products! The pool of solid wood furniture has become so low that the relative price increase is untenable
comment in response to post
I read that, but the problem is the reputable source is much more an indicator than the price and you put the price first. "Quality" is hard to ascertain, "reputable source" is a bit easier, but "price" shouldn't be considered a factor in quality unless it's irrationally low!

This is my strat. A lot of consumerism is the result of being manipulated into buying at a faster rate than we otherwise would. Slower rate → less spent, less consumed, unimportant things quickly forgotten!

That would be a great tip if the $100 jeans weren't also made at $2/pair in a foreign country, but price is really not a good indicator of quality anymore! Seems like every purchase takes an investigation now.

Ah, that would make a lot more sense than the artificial hill I was imagining.

The indoor rolling grassy knoll really blew my mind. That must have been such a pain to build!! Kudos to your set people!
