Your stuff clears IRL stuff out, by making me ponder what is going on in the Unifactor

Count your blessings. No privatisation has ever delivered improvements for us, only the rich benefit from the destruction of public utilities and services.

I don't know if you're in the UK, we're getting robbed blind by these thieving bastards: they've taken billions in profits, invested little to nothing in maintenance or improvements and they're allowed to pump raw sewage into waterways without restraint.

It would be good if the money was actually used for that, instead of buying yachts.

If they think they're going to get votes by punching down, they're wrong.

I know the ones I see racing their chavmobiles round the town centre late at night, revving their engines at the lights, tailgating and going after people with hammers are cunts.

I saw them once out of curiosity, at a cats and dogs rescue centre ( weird venue ), and was severely underwhelmed. Only the scrumpy on tap improved the situation.

Black coffee, or better yet espresso, is the best way. I wouldn't be allowed to work with alcohol in my system.

I wonder what the background of the writer is- this piece reads like a clumsy attempt to plant the idea that ID 'cards' are a good thing.

Having just read it, I agree. There is lots about the benefit to employers, landlords and the government- all of whom can be trusted not to misuse personal information, right?

In Somerset they're gods; everywhere else, they're a shit novelty band from the 70s.

Bring it on. Fascists should be treated exactly the same now: from Trump down, including Thiel, Musk, Miller, any member of any official agency, any identified MAGA supporter, anyone who supports Trump by action or inaction. All responsible.

Certainly looks like it. Davie was, of course, installed by the Tories to further their proto-fascist agenda.

Nearly as much as the large bribes on offer. They're on the take, and don't care who pays.
