Hawley is a product of Stanford and Yale Law. Stupidity can be costly.

This is a great point. 'If you didn't vote for this when you voted for Trump, then what are you willing to do *now* to stop it?'

Vlad is having a very bad day

"Having lost at every level of the judiciary, the Government now improperly attempts to relitigate these same failed jurisdictional challenges rather than answer Plaintiffs' Complaint."

Noticing this across the board with various agencies, and remembering my days in Iraq. Those police and soldiers who wore masks were considered cowards and suspects in extrajudicial action. Cant help but believe those doing it now in the US are complicit in crimes.

"How could you sleep at night taking a pardon when you know you were guilty?"

More than 1,500 US Capitol riot defendants were pardoned. Only one rejected and refused the pardon.. and said accepting it would be "wrong" WATCH: www.cbsnews.com/news/pamela-...

Somebody better tell Jake Tapper.

In the Senate trial of Impeachment #1, Alaska's Sen. Lisa Murkowski voted to acquit Trump. In Impeachment #2, she said 'I want him gone.' She must oppose this.

Has the clock started to tick on that $40M of pro bono work?

Gov. DeSantis is a lawyer. Did he miss all of those Con Law classes at Harvard?

Everyone knows that's not a circuit split. It's a banana split.

When the Sec'y of the Navy thought that the attack on Pearl Harbor took place on June 7, 1941, and DHS PrisonPhotoOp Sec'y Noem didn't know what habeas corpus is, then why *would* the FEMA guy know the US has a hurricane season?

This 1000%.

Early rumors are that up to 40 Russian strategic bombers were destroyed in one of the most audacious operations I’ve ever seen. Get fucked, Vlad.

🚨👀 massive drone attacks targeting Russian long range bombers deep inside Russia.

Wonder if the capitulating firms considered that *they* might have broken the law.

A hardened, embittered, broken woman who looks older than her actual age of 55. Yet mockery and cruelty. No empathy to give. Rinse and repeat. Karma.

"[W]e must sail sometimes with the wind and sometimes against it--but we must sail, and not drift, nor lie at anchor." --Oliver Wendell Holmes, Sr. To paraphrase Judge Wilkinson in Abrego Garcia's case, "sail" is an active verb.

Saturday night 🔥🔥🔥 Malcolm Kenyatta killing it—torching Musk, dragging Joni Ernst, & calling out the DC clown show for what it is. He said it loud: that town is a hot mess! More of this energy, please🤩 @malcolmkenyatta.bsky.social

Remnick: "Why isn't this a frivolous lawsuit?" Stahl: "It is a frivolous lawsuit."

Hey Philly, you and your neighbors have been targeted by DHS as sanctuary jurisdictions. Trump's strong-arm tactic: 'Assist ICE or I'll cut Fed funds.' Tell the folks in City Council and the Mayor's office to stand up. Never negotiate with a bully.

Are these ICE officers getting paid bonuses based on the number of arrests they make?

In San Antonio today, plainclothes ICE officers (not masked this time) arrested, handcuffed, and zip-tied a family of five (yes, ALL of them, including the little children) coming out of their immigration court hearing — which ICE had just had dismissed. www.mysanantonio.com/news/local/a...

BREAKING: Over 130 former federal & state judges have filed an amicus brief urging the court to drop charges against Judge Dugan in Wisconsin The charges seek to criminalize judicial discretion & set a dangerous precedent for executive overreach We MUST defend judicial independence👇

“Your job, as Pardon Attorney, is not to reward convicted defendants who have been politically or financially loyal to the President” House Judiciary Cmte Democrats probe new U.S. Pardon Attorney ===> www.cbsnews.com/news/raskin-...

I know I should take this seriously but this ICE tweet genuinely made me laugh.

Wikipedia labors to stay up as tens of millions of dudes look up the U.S. Court of International Trade in order to explain it

Start every day with this reality: EVERY HOUSE SEAT and 33 Senate seats are up for election in 2026. THAT must be the focus. Let’s get disciplined. #LeaveNoPowerOnTheTable ballotpedia.org/United_State...

"By 1607 judicial immunity would have barred this prosecution in England, or in the colonies that became the United States of America. Today ... judicial immunity bars it still."

Who will tell the president what the Constitution requires? Certainly not Attorney General Bondi. And certainly not this nominee for the Office of Legal Counsel.

Bizarre. Alice in Wonderland-esque.

Is now a good moment to point out how ... incoherent ... it is to have a single "specialized" federal appeals court (the Federal Circuit) that is simultaneously responsible for hearing appeals in more than a dozen *very different* types of cases? www.law.cornell.edu/uscode/text/...

Republicans changed the rules, & now practically any action the executive branch takes can be challenged in Congress. Any 30 Senators can bring up a vote, & get a guaranteed 10 hours of floor time. Meaning that Democrats could hold the floor indefinitely, if they wanted. prospect.org/politics/202...
