Perhaps not. But I live in a military town that's the home of the world's largest Naval Base, NATO, and several military facilities and shipyards, one literally in my backyard. I live in a targeted area. I'm not panicking, but I'm not naive to think we'd be safe here.

Still a terrible response, Donald.

That number though...

Yup. Just in time to cross-promote the upcoming second season on HBO Max in August.

And before my mutuals get worried about me and want to DM or @ me, I'm okay. Frustrated, infuriated, dejected, and mad about current situations on both sides of the screen, but I'm okay. Just trying to defuse myself from saying something out loud I may regret. Don't know how long I can do that.

I also know bottling up this frustration with everything around me isn't healthy either. But neither is exploding all over the place and hurting others. I don't want to be responsible for that. I feel if I ever did go all the way off, I'll be the lone casualty. And you know what? I'd deserve it.

I refuse to be pessimistic though. But lately, that's a struggle. There are times I want to shout out to the world how I feel. There are times I want to just put people I know are being jerks on blast, even some people I consider friends. And yet, I feel like a coward because I can't & I don't.

I'm not relevant to anybody. I'm not in a position of authority. I'm not even employable because I aged myself out of the system. I'm a relic from another time. An old man knowing his time on this rock is finite. I'm just a ghost, really. Mostly invisible, easily ignored, and not dead yet.

I honestly think it's still going to happen, but I also feel Weigel might make more FAST channels based on their other channels at the same time, much like Scripps (ION, GRIT, LAFF, Bounce) and Sony (GET) does for their OTA channels. I suspect they're not going to JUST do MeTV Toons.

I think they're gonna need a bigger boat. Like, one the size of six aircraft carriers.

Oh, that's straight-up bull.

Feel the same way about Dean Cain from Lois and Clark. For someone who played the ideal hero, he really doesn't get what Superman is all about and has embraced hate over love, intolerance over empathy, and jingoism over global unity. He doesn't embody truth, justice, and a better tomorrow.

I think it'll work on Android TV too.

I think that's because M*A*S*H is still prominent in syndication and a rather big revenue stream for the studio and don't want to dilute that. It's the same reason NBCU's not in any rush to create a Law & Order: SVU FAST channel. Those USA and syndication monies for that series are quite good.

Yeah, that's not happening. There's already a Power Rangers FAST channel that airs all of those shows, and since Disney has zero monetary and ownership stake in PR, they're not going to create a FAST channel explicitly on that particular era. It makes no fiscal or common sense for them to do that.

The Doctor will do that to you. Had to get an American Doctor Who AU production schedule out of my head in October and wrote that whole thing out in under a week, and the only reason I put it out was because the election pissed me off and I needed a diversion. THEN I watched a ton of Classic Who.

Granted, they're not as ambitious as I'd imagined them being back in August, but I'm sure they'll get there one of these days. Maybe around the turn of the decade. I'd love to be proven wrong though. thoughtnami.blogspot.com/2024/08/imag...
