In 1990 super mario bros 3 cost 49.99. In today’s dollars that would be 122.70. On top of that games cost orders of magnitude more to develop and offer many more hours of entertainment. I get it, capitalism sucks, but this constant complaining over reasonable prices is childish.

You think they would engage with the system right now anyway? That feels like just putting a big red flag on the map for ICE to find you.

Ben Shapiro may be a captured partisan actor, but he is miles ahead of Tim Pool on both legal knowledge and intellectual horsepower.

Maybe he should try tariffing them since that’s his favorite form of coercion.

More accurately they did a calculation that one political party prosecuting another looks partisan even if it’s not and that the electorate is too uninformed to know the difference.

Can you find a 1795 law prohibiting guns on planes? Didn’t think so. Thomas will get this straightened out.

Is it possible that other firms would be reticent to hire him because of the looming threat of Trump harassment?

Have they not been paying attention? A core tenet of the Donald Trump presidency is never admit fault.

And what people are going to do these jobs? You want to go into high schools and explain to them that the last generation is all software engineers and data scientists, but they get to work in a factory! Yay!

Supply goes down. Demand stays the same. Price goes up. It’s not nefarious. If the prices stayed the same every shelf would be empty by 9AM.

Just because it’s a good idea doesn’t mean the president has the power to do it.

So work less hours and live in a shitty neighborhood and own nothing. You can do that now. Plenty of people do.

It makes sense. The Democratic Party has to be a media company, period. Governing is no longer a concern.

It’s because Walmart uses its insane bargaining potential to force concessions from vendor partners.

Yes, because at least in theory American billionaires are subject to American laws. China is not.

It would have been improper for Garland to do it himself and Roberts would have never let Trump make it to trial.

Maybe I’ve been tricked by some fringe theories, but concern that a system built on growth may collapse in the absence of that growth seems like a legitimate concern. At least in the abstract.

I understand the displeasure with ABC for capitulating and with politico for trying to explain it away using generalities and theories, but we can’t turn on the media. They are one of the few avenues we have for holding the incoming administration to account.

If this is the standard a large portion of modern media is defamation. Maybe this precedent leads to nothing, but it certainly has the potential of being the basis for a fair number of suits going forward.
