The project is still in way too early stages to share/test/release, but I'm happy about the progress.
If you want to find out more (it's mostly mechanical discussion and game dev talk), I have a discord for the game and game dev talks in general:

Context:
I'm working on my own Roguelike/Arpg/MechanicPuzzler since a bit of a year.
I'd best describe it as a mix between Hades, Backpack hero, Noita/PoE and Balatro.
Every item in the inventory applies to you (no need to equip them). Items have position synergies.

I really like the Zen idea!

Currently internally named 'Void Mode' or 'Even Darker'. Can't decide. Suggestions for a name?

The useful information, like drop sources is by the way managed by the community.

The price data is kindly provided by poe2scout.
It IS noisy however (and it's not the fault of poe2scout), because they crawl the usual trade site, instead of using the trade river (because GGG has not enabled it yet).
I hope to connect poe2ninja once it has price data again!

Currently they play the related material sound when they are picked up/dropped, but I'll consider it, thanks!

In combat mode, the effect stack and is one VERY strong stat. It's very hard to stack enchantments, as the sockets (+runes) are hard to get on one item.
In meta inventory, the items fully transforms. The runes are consumed, but you can add more sockets (for socket effects, but you can't ench again)

All of this is subject to change:
Items receive sockets when they level up (+ some other means)
Once you have a runeword, you CAN evolve the item.
The runes AND sockets get removed and the item gets modified.

The slots on the bottom right are shop slots, some are empty/sold out (though some other vendors use different mechanics).
The meta inventory is a secondary-inventory that you keep and upgrade between runs that mostly apply build-agnostic stats like: magic find, max life, gold find...

The project is still in deep dev and takes a lot of inspiration from Hades/Noita/Poe/D2/BackbackBattle/Hero...
If you're curious, I have a dedicated discord up to discuss game dev/ideas.
There will be some closed testing this year I hope (between poe leagues)

By my personal observation I'd say:
S tier - invoker, deadeye
A-B tier - mercenary, weaver, warbringer, witchhunter, infernalist, titan (maybe)
C: rest

Overall I can recommend the steam deck. It certainly doesn't beat a PC, but it was a smooth poe2 experience

Issues:
The contols are somewhat lacking in the inventory management, where jumping between stash and inv and applying orbs, just feels a bit slow.
It's not frustrating and I even sold some gear to other players, but weakpoint
Also without filters item text is just tiny and easy to miss.

Control:
The control scheme works really really well. Especially with the merc switching ammo types, firing grenades all while running and aiming and dodging and flask chugging.
All of this works really well together.
It's clear that a lot of work was invested there.

Graphics:
The steam deck manages poe2 decently well.
Vulcan + medium graphics results in a steady 40ish fps. I initially used lower graphics settings, but it felt like the FPS was the same at way worse visuals.
It's honestly very well playable and looks good.

I'm starting on an invoker.
I was leaning towards monk before ascendancy reveal, but was somewhat scared off, by the lack of spirit access and defensive options.
Both concerns now have been addressed!
