Same.

Yes, two Jim Henson movies. Because every single Henson movie could go on my list.

I am determined to figure it out even though I know I'm at a disadvantage because I don't have depth perception.

They are really cool. I was only going to get the anatomy for artists book but I saw the other two and both are things I struggle with so had to grab them too. The perspective book is probably going to result in tears because I have such a hard time with perspective but hopefully worth it.

I don't know. I've been disappointed wlever since I learned it's not an Avatar the Last Airbender spin off.

So good. I love when I get to tell people who compliment my outfits when stuff is thrifted or I modified it myself

The closest to fanart anymore I do is stuff in the public domain and TTRPG player characters. No one can stop you from drawing Cthulhu for example or Baba Yaga or Alice in Wonderland (as long as it's not a copy of the Disney version) and roleplaying games don't own elves, barbarians, vampires, etc

Did they now know how often can artists get cease and desist letters if they sell their work? Especially online. Companies don't care about fanart being made for fun, that's free publicity, it's as soon as you try to sell it without giving them their cut that the lawyers start calling

While I don't have anything that expensive I do have a number of items I've gotten thrifting that were originally several hundred dollars including a very nice wool coat that was like $400 new that I got for $20.

Not to mention these characters are also covered under trademark law which is far stricter on use.

Incorrect. Transformative work would be creating an original character in the style of Marvel comics. Not creating Ironman.

They're around the same size as a border collie. They aren't scary.

It's exceedingly rare, so rare that there have only been two recorded human fatalities from coyote attacks, ever.

Yes, I lived in rural Maine most of my life. Shout and they run away.

What I hear when people call something a distraction is: I don't care about the people this thing is hurting so I'm going to claim it's not actually important it's a distraction because who fucking cares about trans people/immigrants/federal workers/women's rights, etc. it doesn't affect ME

I wonder if any of those bills inadvertently end up banning crop dusting. Since I doubt they're being thought through with much care.

Mechanics are less important than storytelling.

Most websites still use JavaScript, why one way to get past a lot of pay walls is you temporarily disable JavaScript. So it's still entirely possible to do that, just sadly web designers don't anymore.

I'm jealous. I was hoping to pull Cloud or Tifa. I did get Barrett and Locke though.

Jared Golden on that guest list makes his "talk to people" thing even funnier. My rep refuses to hold town halls despite his constituents constantly calling for him to do so.

Socializing with a sycophantic machine over real people IS NOT healthy. It's the exact opposite. What is healthy is finding a group of people you click with for roleplay, or considering that maybe you're the problem if it keeps happening over and over
comment in response to post
Please read that over and over again and tell me if that sounds at all like a healthy approach

There are literally hundreds of discord servers with real people roleplaying that's going to be way better. For just about anything you might be looking for from D&D to VtM to tiny indie games to just free RP, and from adventures to political intrigue to ERP. There's zero excuse to use ChatGPT
