It’s not illegal for a United States Senator to go to a public press conference and ask questions about your constituents safety. It's our job.

When a cabinet member announces "We are using the military to liberate an American city from its elected leaders," where do you go from there. What is left to say. The idea of that being anything short of a near-universal "Wait, what the fuck is going on" moment proves how far we've backslid.

Agreed, and I'm one of those people who doesn't want to live in a city because I'm an extreme introvert and there are too many people. I've traveled to citiies many times and it was never scary. Just loud, crowded, and overwhelming. Cities not being for you is cool, promoting fear of them is not.

This reporting from the NYT is bizarre. I think many Americans wear white t-shirts and jeans. It seems that they’re trying to rely on some weird stereotype of chol@ dress or something and it comes off (to me) both hilarious and cringe.

i know it's just advertisement but it still pisses me off when tech CEOs claim AGI will solve humanity's problems with its vast intelligence. for a lot of problems we already know the solutions, what prevents them being solved is not a lack of intelligence, but that the solutions are unprofitable

Know who I will perpetually be angry at as an artist? Anyone who tells beginners that using references is cheating or not real art. You cannot learn to draw the human body without looking at the human body. Same goes for anything else. Working totally from imagination comes later.

I sometimes wonder if people who insist that everything is a distraction have to run their own errands. “This grocery trip is a distraction from the REAL issue, which is the weird noise my engine is making! The fact we’re out of toilet paper is a distraction from the REAL issue which is dinner!”

In addition to donating your body to science, you should be able to donate your body to a horror film.

Watch this, over and over until it sinks in. That cop saw a reporter and deliberately aimed and fired at her with no warning. I don't want to hear that if you're peaceful the cops won't use violence. We know that's a lie.

not the main issue here but i'd really appreciate it if democratic politicians spoke out in support of big-city life and culture with the same energy and reverence that all politicians have for small towns los angeles is "real america" and so are all the other big cities the president hates

Sometimes you just need to draw something quick and simple. Decided to spend the weekend on art I could print as stickers. So I made a gelatinous cube. #digitalart #dungeonsanddragons #ttrpg

With the $45 million being spent on the president's parade here’s what that money could do for veterans instead: House 3k veterans for an entire year in transitional housing Provide full PTSD treatment for 3.75k veterans for a year Deliver job training to 9k veterans through 12-week programs

It's not often I cheer for a corporation but Michael's bought what's left of Joann's and is going to expand their fabric and yarn offerings. Why am I so happy? I was genuinely worried that Hobby Lobby was going to do this and I refuse to shop there (if you don't know why, look it up)

That shit isn't free. You can't expect publishers, especially indie publishers, to not pay their employees.

No. Let us enjoy this wedge between the two biggest narcissists on the planet and point and laugh for a moment. We know all that, we can fucking multitask.

Okay, so I didn't get this finished in time for the 1st. But it's done now. Happy Pride!

If I can give any advice for TTRPGs/LARP it's this: reward good roleplay. I quite often will wave checks completely or give benefits to them (advantage, retests, additional dice, whatever the system allows). I'm doing this right now in a downtime scene for two of my LARP players.

Closeup on the face for a commission I'm working on right now. I have never ever painted this much fur before and it's a lot. How do furry artists do this all the time?
