Love Dorothy giving it to Dr Budd with both barrels post diagnosis. Think she/Susan Harris speaks for many folk who’ve been through the medical mill with #MEcfs. Took me far too many years to be diagnosed myself. Happens to many of us, far too often. youtu.be/WzUEyic68Qc?...

She is. You could tell she was revelling in playing Missy. Yes. Indeed. Her performance in ‘It’s A Sin’ was outstanding. Could also see her playing the Doctor, if she fancied doing it. No idea if she’s into Whovian stuff or not.

Submitted a writing project. Everything’s in the lap of the gods now. Already onto the next thing.

Ooh! Now there’s a thought. Bet Keeley would relish playing a baddy. Loved Missy.

On that premise, if it was me writing the next episode of #DoctorWho, it isn’t - obviously, I would call it ‘Hope and Joy,’ make it a Christmas special, and introduce a new companion called ‘Hope.’

Reminds me of one of my favourite words: lackadaisical. Great word. Lazy takes less effort. 🤭

Like that idea. A meeting of minds and chip butties over tea that’s almost too lazy to get out of the pot. 😉

He’s hot away with it for years. Until a smart young officer enters his ranks and shows him up for what he really is. He realises he’s got to lift his game, or else. But is he still up to the job?

Going to take me a while to process that ending.

The living, breathing, personification of money doesn’t buy you happiness.

Oh, and my course of radiotherapy begins next Tuesday. Hoping and praying it doesn’t kick my backside too much as have to get cracking with next project. Deadlines etc. Humbled and grateful I don’t have to undergo chemotherapy. If I’m quieter than normal for a while… you get the gist.

Indeed. Was a big animal lover, had a strong sense for social injustice and wasn’t afraid to speak out. Sorely missed.

We’re meant to send the ladder down, not yank it up and effectively say “Screw you!” You can’t make a country richer on the backs of the super wealthy while millions of other people are struggling. <steps down off soap box>

Believe there’s something else also going on here. By effectively making going to uni a ‘closed shop’ to only those who can afford the fees while also cutting arts, humanities and research, this makes it far tougher for people from w/c backgrounds to progress/greater earning potential/lift economy.

I've just realised that Mrs Flood is probably called that because Rani anagrams to Rain. 😊

Sounds like I’ll have to keep the Kleenex handy. 😿

How about ‘Hear my Song?’ (1991) ‘Set Fire to the Stars’ is slightly over 90 minutes, but a really good film. (2014) Field of Dreams (1989) runs a bit longer, but you can always have an interval. Speaking as someone who has ME/cfs and fibromyalgia, I frequently watch movies in two parts. 😊

Lordy! I’ve been putting off watching ‘Flow’ precisely because I thought it might turn me into a blubbering wreck. Dearly want to watch it, just not sure I’m emotionally strong enough right now.
