Even with the cost of the presciption, we've managed to get Sumesh's meds for six months online at the same price our local vet was charging us for one month's supply. I know they've got overheads, but not to that extent.

I did wonder about that, although I guess people buying the print edition of The Sun in 2025 might be old enough to get it; if you don't, I don't even know if 'stick it up your jumper' would be a common enough phrase to make it work

The reported speech defence never really convinced because it's not - it's ventriloquism, and targeted at precisely the sort of band that Dire Straits isn't. And even if it had been shorthand-noted from a bloke installing his colour TV, putting it into a single in a homophobic-era UK was... ugh.
