(iPhone fine it yourself) Some of these businesses are trying to distance themselves, saying it's a mistake, but they have to apply on order to be included. - I really hate the character limit

Put it on the stack of all the other things he'll go without answering for.

Come sorry about it, if that haven't read (or seen) it yet, that's not on you!

Autocorrect-corrected: Here's an idea: Trump's idiotic tariffs go into effect and corporations use the profits they've gotten from ALL costumers since prices never returned to pre-covid rates, which were allegedly due to logistics during the pandemic - which ended 3 years ago.

So is Trump, though, he has NO idea what he's doing. He's held up by people who know how to game the system, he's a figurehead. I think there's a fair chance that if he went away, they'd replace the figurehead with a new Teflon deity.

I worry that it's less about their personal liability, and more about passing the baton. Let's say the legal system actually works as designed and trunk is impeached. Whoever he endorses to the cult is the new king du jour. They know he can't live forever.

She repeatedly said that it was a town hall, not a rally, that the protests were outside, yet, even with a room full of police officers and boyfriend in the room, she was still afraid to take a single live question. They were all pre screened so that any dissent could be mocked instead of addressed.

The standing civilian then said 'this is bullshit, I'm leaving', and walked toward the door. I turned my attention and camera back to... her, and a moment later, I hear 5 officers fighting to get him out of the room until they got him to the door and tazed him.

-1 man was removed for booing when she wanted applause, -1 for speaking against her -the 3rd was standing next to me when an officer told him to sit he said 'can't I just stand here?' the officer said 'i need you to sit down, please' (I do believe he said please)...more

With that said, what was happening inside was a travesty. Within the first 10 minutes of her WALKING ON STAGE, 3 people were removed by police... more

Medical trips? Are you suggesting that dear leader isn't the 6'3" 220lb Adonis that his newest liar -er- doctor claims?

Didn't a lettuce once outlast your PM? I'm all for this kind of accountability in government!

That's always what comes to mind for me, too.

We may not like it, but precedent HAS been set. Trump is unimpeachable. He has the Judiciary and a majority of the Legislative in his pocket. What changes now? Republicans are great at making something out of nothing (laptop) while Dems often let the big something fizzle to nothing (treason).

Also, I think the only reason that the Dems didn't contest the '24 election is that Trump beat the topic to death over 6 years.

He's younger and doesn't care if people like him. Trump's vanity keeps him lying (poorly) to save his reputation (also poorly), Vance already has a fair portion of the country believing he boned a couch and wrote about it! I don't think he has any fucks left to give.

The biggest difficulty in saving our democracy is that we're still fighting OURSELVES because the Orange man isn't accountable for his actions. Our government was set up with TWO SEPARATE checks on presidential power, and corruption took them both out.

True, but that "if" is doing a lot of heavy lifting.

It's a solid plan, but I don't know that I'd even trust R signatures.
comment in response to post
This was MUCH more controversial than I realized! To be clear, I'm not suggesting that we don't bother trying to impeach the orange bastard, but I do think that Vance would be worse. The thought that we'd have time to impeach more than one person in a term is kinda funny, though.

Grassley is just as complicit right now as the rest of them.

Trying and failing just empowers him more.

I'm not sure that anyone short of Caesar Milan can keep that side of the House in order.

I'm in no way disagreeing, but they couldn't impeach Trump with a smoking gun in his hands. How exactly will they be successful when they've villainized everyone who isn't them, and his cronies in DC are more prevalent than ever? I'm only saying that to remove him without a plan is a bad idea.

I think this is a great point, and that we need to stop settling for least corrupt, but how to we elect the incorruptible? The people we WANT as leaders can't get any attention for the noise that the bad actors are making? Incumbency rate is 97% in the US.

No one will ever punish him. I think we've learned that he truly IS above the law. Be it by circumstance, fraud, or sheer stupid luck, the only one to pay for Donald Trumps actions will continue to be the people he has control over.

First election in the Democratic party?
