Thank you for reminding me that I also need to play Triangle Strategy

I think that archetype still exists in some capacity, but truth be told, none of the Tron decks are seeing much play these days.

Nice! The only pauper deck I have is this super janky Temur Tron build. I've been seeing some cool control focused mono-red Tron lists lately, so I'm thinking of pivoting to that.

Thanks! I have only played the original trilogy, so I'm looking forward to it!

I've recently been getting into Standard again on Arena. Occasionally, I play EDH at my LGS. I might try to get some of the folks at the LGS into Pauper. I've been watching the format's meta for a couple of years, but haven't really had the chance to play it much.

I love magic! What formats do you play?

Ace Attorney? Hell yeah! I literally just picked up a copy of the Apollo Justice Trilogy like yesterday

I'd highly recommend the free version of DaVinci Resolve. It has everything you'll likely need and then some. There's a bit of a learning curve, but that's going to be true of any editing software. The ceiling of what DaVinci is capable of is notably higher than any other free option I'm aware of.

This was really interesting to read through! As someone coming from mtg, I don't think I would have realized that getting a card back is kind of like getting a 2 CP discount + potential color fixing. That Bartz interaction is also very cool.

A Chris Hadfield shout-out will always get a thumbs up from me. I firmly believe his space oddity video is a strong contender for the title of "best video on the entire internet"

I'm sure the avalanche party would last long enough that Biggs could show up fashionably late once the kids were in bed. Now I'm imagining him speeding from sector 5 back to sector 7 on his motorcycle, still dressed as Bugs Bunny, which is a fantastic mental image

I think you're right that Wedge would be the one to come up with the idea, but I don't think Biggs would need to be forced into it. He probably spends his Halloweens helping out at the Leaf House, so he would do it "for the children"

I feel that so hard. I've only ever gotten deeply invested in online multiplayer for two games: Titanfall 2 and Kid Icarus Uprising

Which Mass Effect is your favorite? Mine's the first one. One of the most memorable moments in the whole series for me is finding this random alien pyramid in the middle of nowhere, climbing to the top, and just taking in the view for a moment.

I have fully lost track of the number of times I've played through Metal Gear Rising youtu.be/WM33Hr94SKw?...

The World's End? Hell yeah! Probably my favorite of the Cornetto Trilogy. (Which is saying a lot because all three of them are among my favorite movies of all time)

I'm really curious what they're going to do for the gameplay. Because there's no way it's still based on D&D 3.5e, right?

Kotor is great. I wonder if that remake is ever going to actually come out

My interests overlap with a lot of these. Especially if you count "going to the local used game store and buying the jankiest looking xbox 360 shovelware they have" as a form of physical game collecting

Ooh, I hadn't heard of Cloudbreaker Alliance. It does look neat.

It's still wild to me that Titanfall 2 and Dishonored 2 came out within 2 weeks of each other and both feature a one-off level with the same extremely cool parallel timelines gimmick

Hi there! I am in NA, Washington, to be specific, so not really that close to California. Same time zone, though, so if there's a way to play online, that could make that easier.

Lancer and FabUlt? Impeccable taste

And because I couldn't fit it in the main post, here's a follow-up of my current top 5 tabletop games Lancer Magic: The Gathering Pokémon TCG Blades in the Dark Fabula Ultima (haven't actually gotten the chance to play/run this one yet, but I sure would like to)

Thanks for the tip. There are a few card shops in my area. I'm not sure if any of them carry FFTCG, but I'll ask around.
comment in response to post
Well, my quick pitch for Lancer is "It's like DnD, but with mecha," so if that sounds like something you'd be into, I've got resources I can point you towards

I don't think I actually finished that first playthrough. I'm pretty sure I got stuck on the Luxray fight and decided to start over. I think the first time I actually beat the game was with Treecko. I really ought to do another playthrough, it's been a while.

Yo, a PMD fan with a Skitty profile pic! A person after my own heart. Skitty was my player character when I first played Explorers of Time as a kid.

I've been thinking about getting into the FFTCG, but I'm not sure how. Does it have an event finder website like MTG does?

What tabletop games do you play? I've recently been into Lancer myself.
