Trying not to sweat the small stuff, but it kinda ruined my afternoon 😬

“I’m not great at driving stick.”
I specifically told the transporter company it was a manual car.
It’s being paid for by a work relocation, but it’s not worth a clutch job.

GM needs an I6 to compete with Mopar. The return of the Blue Flame lol!

I think the rumor mill says the next gen V8 comes out in 2027, a Corvette launch would be a great way to promote it.
My own 2¢: A BEV Corvette makes more sense as a Cadillac since they're pushing to be all electric. Corvette buyers want nothing less than a V8.

I'm wondering if Chevy will do a below base Corvette, or if they'll come back out with something to replace the Camaro.

For the C8? Probably another special edition or two, plus a Grand Sport trim.
In general, the C9 will have smoother lines. It needs a base model around $55k-$60k. Most of the lineup will be hybridized. I don't think it needs to be any quicker/faster.
The full EV version will be a Cadillac.

What's you're prediction for the C8 GS? I think it'll be a widebody with with the next gen V8. Probably a one year trim in 2028.

Well, well. If it isn't me 😕🙃

That’s why I stopped replying!
Crazy how relevant that quote has become again, but for a totally different game.

I’m still not entirely sure how to properly use that word in a conversation.
I feel like it’s a buzz word 16-20 y/os use to virtue signal that they like a thing that other people like.

Yessss so 00s. And lmao it’s being pulled by a scout locomotive 😂

And let us not forget the granddaddy of weird political O gauge from our friends at the former K-Line.

As a meme, Lionel made me laugh with this. I don’t take it seriously though.

Fingers crossed this opens more opportunities for 2926! 🤞

I have to imagine with their return to NASCAR, Ram is already planning a competitor.

Imagine day drinking and blasting the Sims 1 soundtrack in there.
Mid century marvelous 👏

And most of them show their face in the videos more than the cars.

And any creativity that drew me in is gone now because of the algorithm. It kills anything that's not "advertiser friendly" or strays away from the one thing that made a YouTuber popular.

Is it safe to say Car YouTube isn’t as compelling as it was a decade ago?

The Corvette brand should have a FR layout car. Give it a Chevy V6 Turbo and price it around $35k. Make it the blue collar Cayman/Boxter.

...and it needs to be branded Corvette. Let that pay the bills for more Corvette trim levels.

2-3 years ago, I was at a new car show. 8-10 older men were gathered around a C8. One attempted to crouch down and sit in it, but gave up about half way though. I went and sat in it and I could feel their envy.
Honestly, GM needs to make a taller "performance vehicle" for men in this age range...

I like the idea of Genesis models having the names of elegant water birds.

Yep! And they’ve jumped up - especially the 78 pace cars.
C4 prices are up too though. You can’t find a clean, low mile, driving example for $5k anymore.

Corvette mechanics told me to avoid the 4+3 when I was shopping. But everyone I’ve spoken to who owns a 4+3 loves it lol.

I always appreciated the C4 shape, but I fell in love with mine after buying it. Mine is white, but I wish I got a teal one.

Definitely not VQ noises from this one lol 😂

I saw someone floor it in one at an intersection. It did a Carolina squat as it silently accelerated.

The C4 has culturally been on the upward swing since 2020. Deservedly so.
The 996 is a great car, but weirdos just are personally offended by the headlights.

Thank you for saying that! People forget how recently rubber bumper C3s were worthless. The C4 gets more love every year now though.

If I could do it again, I would’ve gotten an 89. Last year of the 80s body, first of the ZF 6 speed. I still like my 91, but the digital dash is too cool.

Every other Tesla. Then the GMC Hummer EV.

As a C4 owner, I’m hated by other Corvette owners. I’m like a 996 among other 911s.

I’d love to see 4 axel, cowl body GEVOs in commuter and long distance pax service.

I assume it works like your house AC? But who wants that? I need constant airflow when I’m driving otherwise I get nauseous. It doesn’t even have to be cold.

I do. And I know I’m going to need it bc all the Chicago train guys that bought them either want to be buried with them or literal thousands of dollars 😬

Having worked in corporate America and knowing how much Goths love despair, this firm really “prides themselves on their corporate culture.” They’re “like a family” there.
