makes sense. it’s not mission critical so i thought it would be nice to avoid spinning up another server but I guess the most sane solution is running a cron job on my vps

if I want to run tasks on a schedule, say every hour or once a day, would this be a good fit?
or are you aware of any other packages that could fit the bill? (using node-adapter)

@khromov.se maybe some weighting of the tests would make sense if you are going to add some aggregated scores at some point. $state is more important than $inspect and so on

interesting that $inspect tests are never passing! wonder why that is so hard. maybe it’s not that common in the wild yet

for a non native english speaker like me, can you explain what being lowkey very excited means? 🤔 is that just excited? either way I feel the same way - I have been stalking the async branch for months waiting for this to drop

no you can connect your bank:
actualbudget.org/docs/advance...
but it is a bit more manual in general, so I can understand wanting something with more polish vs. something open source, free but a bit more rough

have you considered self-hosting Actual? if so, why not?

this is very cool!
I wonder if you have played around with nested resources - or in other words resources that depend on other resources. I have struggled to come up with a nice solution for this

to make it more enjoyable? not sure why this is so hard to understand 😅

1. X is run by shitty people.
2. X is a more enjoyable experience.
now if you know 1 to be true and if you also believe 2 to be true, would it not make sense to try and change 2 by influencing more people to the alternative platforms?
rather than trashing other platsforms to enforce the status quo

a more concrete example:
”Vibes are awful here, compared to there, if we're being honest.”
if you know that X is a platform run by problematic people (to say the least), why would you not then try to promote and encourage people to move to alternative platforms instead of trashtalking them?

What I don’t understand with you reasoning is then - why do you keep pushing for people to use X?
If you think staying on X is a necessary evil to secure your career, then fine that is a argument you could make. Not sure if I agree, but I can understand.
But why trashtalk bsky and promote X?

if you checkout the next branch it can be used with svelte 5 today:
next.shadcn-svelte.com
it works great and already has more features than the svelte 4 (main branch) version. the next branch will be merged into the main branch very soon
