A Moon Shaped Pool is a damn good album and that’s 23 years after Pablo Honey.

I'd hate to think this is him sober.

Bonigno sounds like a I Think You Should Leave character here.

Remember when you said that Biden forgiving student loans was going to cost the Dems the midterms and instead they managed to hold on to the Senate. Also, it doesn’t matter what Dems trans policy is, Republicans are still going to run anti trans ads, might as well go with the morally correct policy.

Dude sounds like a used car salesmen trying to close a sale after the steering wheel comes off in the customer's hands. And Democrats are still scared to challenge him on this issue.

It almost seems like any politician worth their salt could tie the 2nd question with the 1st and get that 58% down below 50% pretty fast.

Dude is a father of 3, Union apprentice. I know out-of-touch, millionaire, politicians have never stepped foot in a Home Depot, but if you tell any normal American he was arrested for loitering at a Home Depot, they know immediately he was just a dude looking for work.
comment in response to post
In fairness, this graphic makes it look like Trump was the one responsible for the lab leak.
comment in response to post
I think Newsom and people who think like him also misjudge how the average American interprets this story. Wealthy, out-of-touch, elites like Newsom, Trump, etc. see someone arrested for "loitering" at a Home Depot as a criminal. Everyone else in this country knows he's just a guy looking for work.

They are being deployed by our Democratic Governor, not Trump. I certainly don't like it but I live here and am hearing this may be a preemptive measure to prevent Trump from federalizing our NG since he can't do that if they are already deployed by the Governor.
comment in response to post
I live in NM and there is some word on the street that this is a move by the Dem Governor to preempt Trump from invoking the Insurrection ACT and sending our NG to the border or some other nefarious purpose. Apparently, Trump can't do that if they are already deployed by the State. Probably BS but 🤷‍♂️

Vance is going to be the only Trump official who is forced to resign and its just because he's a doofus with a fat baby face who Trump is embarrassed by.

This is weak Senator. The US is using masked goons to kidnap people and send them to a foreign concentration camp without any due process and this is the best you you can do right now?
comment in response to post
We can't even get all the Dems to comment on this let alone something like impeachment.

Hopefully, they hold the person who was President in 2020 responsible!

This might satisfy that itch until the next one of these inevitably comes out. www.cbsnews.com/news/h-r-mcm...

I actually often agree with him but his votes never back up what he says. He will occasionally vote against Trump/the rest of the Republicans but ONLY when it isn't a deciding vote. He will never do anything to change the actual outcome of a vote. This is most likely his excuse not to vote on it.
comment in response to post
I don't know. If you told me in 2010 that Donald Trump would be President, these are the kind of problems I'd expect.
comment in response to post
He also promised to block any SCOTUS nominee if Hillary won in 2016. And Dems STILL think they can work with Republicans when the most "maverick" Republican was saying shit like that a decade ago.
comment in response to post
It seems like the theory Trump is using is that he won't "run" or be "elected" as Pres. but as VP and then whoever is Pres. will step down. Also, I know the text of 22A says "elect," but shouldn't the solution be to just not allow a former 2 term Pres. to take office even if they win the election.

Dude is way too emotional for this job.

They should actually listen to the content of their rallies. Virtually nothing they are promoting in these rallies are outside of what moderate Democrats purport to believe in. The only difference is they are doing the work to rally voters that moderates either don't know how or don't want to do.

I know its pointless exercise at this point but if Biden said something like this.....

It's an entire cabinet of Michael Scotts and Selina Meyers.

Why can't Democrats make a bigger deal of this? I've heard conservatives nonchalantly refer to Biden and Clinton (Hillary, not Bill) as pedophiles as if it's common knowledge. Meanwhile, Trump is publicly sympathetic to Ghislaine Maxwells imprisonment and crickets.

What drives me nuts is that none of these points are even "far-left." Anyone in the Democratic Party can and should be speaking like this but they're either too incompetent or cowardly to do so.
comment in response to post
They should do all they can to delay this.
comment in response to post
It's not just "the left" you hacks. Jeffries and Pelosi are even criticizing it. It's anyone who thinks we shouldn't capitulate to a bunch of authoritarian crooks like Musk and Trump which spans much more than just "the left."
comment in response to post
How could anyone, let alone this guy, be this naive in 2024.
comment in response to post
The government has been shutting down since Trump's inauguration. All the CR does is help legitimize the shutdown. You are voting for a shutdown, just a permanent one.
comment in response to post
It could never have reached that point because there is no way that the media or the Republicans would allow the most prominent member of a Dem admin to be an unelected, campaign donor, who never faced a confirmation hearing, and who heads a brand new department in the public but not on paper.

If there are ever elections again and Dems win, they should do this with Soros just for the laughs.
