The big beautiful bill that will gut america. That's what I think they're trying to distract us from.

to be fair, I am also horrified by the weird nazi billionaire's offspring.

Yes, he should get due process, but he shouldn't be afforded the special treatment that the wealthy always get.

I've hated the brain is a computer metaphor since I first learned about it in undergrad because it was clear to me that as computers changed, so did how we talked about the brain. That, for me, showed an inherent weakness in the argument.

If he had anything meaningful to say he wouldn't have opened with a history lesson on the building.

I just want to say, that gay americans are some of the bravest people I know. To go about their lives, building families and communities while knowing there are people who want to erase them out of the world, that's real bravery, everyday bravery. Happy Friday to you!

I love those two! Bob Mortimer is amazing on Would I lie to you, as well!

I think you underestimate the racism and misogyny that still exists in america. If trump had been running against men, I really don't think he would have won. smart women are intimidating to about half of america, clearly.

But we all knew he was in the files, right? This is a surprise to zero people, yes? I'm honestly surprised it took this long for anyone to say it out loud.

Yes, they definitely are a cultural resource, but can we talk about Walmart's role in destroying the pattern industry by telling manufacturers years ago that they had to figure out a way to cut their costs in half because walmart wanted to offer them at 50% off?

Hawaii produces about 1% of the coffee we drink in US. That isn't going to get us very far.

Yes, it makes me so angry, but I think that's the only reason he won the first time, or the second. Against women who are smarter and better qualified, a large portion of the american voters are really theatened and so voted for the worst possible male example.

There was never any justification for any of this. You're right, the cruelty is the point. The point is to terrify people.

WOW! I don't honestly know if that is a good or bad thing. Cleaning the litterbox is bad, but if it's human sized mess in there, yikes! But then, you never step in that mess, do you......hmmm

Same! My tiny family can't afford to lose our elders before their time so I think goodness for HIV medications.

It's the same old story. Steal as much money as possible from consumers. It's blood from a stone frankly.

Also, See their list of what? Is he interested in their resumes?

AH! Thank you! This is new information for me. He isn't a good guy certainly, but he 'should' be smart enough not to use fake research to call out things, but I guess he's as much of a lackey as the rest of maga

I have forgotten. He's a piece of crap, but what does he have to do with this?

This was almost my exact response. Definitely god not this again. I don't have a hope in hell that rfk even knows how to stop the measles outbreak. But, god not this again....is a widely shared sentiment.

It's so good to see the consistency with which TACO's administration continues to put forward white men with no actual knowledge or experience into roles that require both knowledge and experience. Does this mean they have no one else?

Since I'm not a lawyer, I don't know the answer to this, but is it normal to quote fiction in a legal document? I mean, it seemed very similiar, but is it normal and usual? I just wonder how far we've gotten from the "norm"

nope. not just you.

NO. NO. NO. NO.

It makes my heart hurt that that's where we are as a society. People are openly advocating for eugenist ideas. It makes me angry and simultaneously feel helpless. I don't know if the US is going to make it through all the things happening now that empower that idiot to say his hateful hurtful things

Watch out! These articles started appearing a while ago in the US and now we have TACO 47. I don't want that for you.

This is how they do it. They undermine our faith in journalism by destroying the whole industry. We can't fight what we don't know about.

I bet Elizabeth Warren didn't use AI to compile her report! As a former professor, she knows better! :)

This is such a lie. They will absolutely blame the democrats just like they keep lying and saying everything is Biden's fault... even though he was a robot? IDK. I just know that it will be the dems fault because they deflect and lie. That's all they know how to do!

It's like they excluded everyone with even an 8th grade science level, let alone experts. I've never seen a hurricane, nor have I ever been affected by one, but I know they're real and I know there is a season for them.

Yes! All the hoopla about anti-maskers and anti-vaxxers made me more pro-vaxx too! Congrats on your tetanus shot!

Gender-affirming care and gender-affirming surgeries are NOT the same thing. I don't think anyone is performing surgey on kids. This is another thing TACO's crazy mind made up to scare people with.
comment in response to post
Oh hell no. Harriet Tubman, Ruth Bader Ginsburg and Thurgood Marshall are each greater people than TACO 47 can ever hope to be. That must be why he hates them.

What is so terrifying is that the people and the vehicles have no markings. They could be anyone. You can buy all that gear at the local crazy right-winger prepper store.
comment in response to post
You are not alone in this fear. We could have an immigrant serial killer on our hands and probably never know. That's what makes this so terrifying.

Thank you for your perspective. I appreciate you sharing it. I haven't yet heard a reason to use crypto that didn't include something unsavory, but I'm still listening.

We painted our kitchen a decade ago and the cabinet doors have yet to be replaced. I love it so much, but yeah, sometimes I'd love to hide the chaos.

It's the stolen data that I'm really worried about. I was hoping some hackers could erase it all but I think that might be too much to hope for.

I once lost something in a drawer that was 2 inches deep and the item I was looking for took up 3/4 of the drawer. I'd rather have stuff out where I can find it. My ideal would be to have everything really important mounted on the wall!

I think he should be the first client to the remigration office. Is that an option? Self-deporting? What are my choices? Letting him into the democratic party is NOT one of the options because like you said, he is definitely a nazi

Yep, when Kennedy said he'd have the answer to what causes autism by September, I was thinking that I know what it is now. Autism is caused by genetics.

Also, that picture has got to be 50 years old. Is that what he thinks he looks like? HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA. Talk about delusional!

People have already died from heat. Joe Arpaio made created Tent City prison where Marcia Powell died in 2009 of heat exhaustion because it was 107 degrees and her medication made her more suscepible to heat. This is a terrible idea. www.prisonlegalnews.org/news/2018/au...

Attacks on education have been a long con with defunding education and attacking school boards and standards. These statistics are the ones that right wants to have to manipulate the population. All the rest, trans kids, DEI, and woke have been a distraction from the main goal of dumbing us down.

Didn't everyone already watch Glass Onion and realize that people with a lot of money are lucky not geniuses? If not, go watch that movie again.

I cannot understand the mental gymnastics it would take to do that, but thank you for sharing a new perspective.
