Actually upon reflection I have heard him describe himself as "straight but not narrow" on more than one occasion

Is he gay? I wondered

Didn't you learn from every high school teen show? Everyone knows who the stoners are

And i used to be the one others would hear about the hidden gems from before they became mainstream hits

I've started to adopt a subscribe, watch the shows that I've actually heard about AND still remember hearing about, cancel and move on to the next service. There is way too much TV that is "hot" for literally a day or a weekend or a week if you are lucky to try and watch when it's watercooler cool

It's why the boy wonders who want to "disrupt" publishing by churning out 8000 AI books a year terrify me. The new widgeting of another creative industry where you will be lucky to even find an actual human writer through all the noise.

I've thought about the widget comparison so much. I do truly think that shows just fill buckets these days. "We need a sappy romance widget - the current one is getting old and needs too much money to keep running. The audience won't notice or care if we replace it with something that's cheaper"

It becomes a dollar proposition of where you spend your time/money. Not a publicist but sales/marketing/web design/IT background

There is a marketing concept around action items that allow companies to move potential sales into and through a marketing funnel. The value isn't in the person who might click on the link if they have got nothing better to do. It's the person who is a maybe interested who can be converted.
comment in response to post
If the link requires a login to watch, their IT for sure will know who logged in. And any marketing campaign worth it's salt knows who is clicking through on links regardless of when the link is sent.
comment in response to post
From a marketing perspective, if you send me an email to ask for a link, gives me another opportunity to keep the conversation going. I can also follow up to see if you got the link, etc.

I believe she originally turned down the role because she was trying to get pregnant, continuing to do fertility treatments while traveling, had a miscarriage a couple months in and was continuing to try. Fingers crossed for her www.nytimes.com/2024/12/04/w...

I was thinking about your #elbowsup equivalent question. The reason it works in Canada it is a hockey and Gordie Howe reference. Even if you don't follow hockey (and i don't), it still resonates. I'm thinking there must be a US movie reference that resonates? Especially now?

Interestingly the Calgary lib candidate was a last minute switch because previous candidate had not disclosed a domestic assault charge and the Edmonton lib candidate switched ridings at the last minute after being asked by the party to switch ridings from where the ndp won their seat

That was her first campaign. It was a prebooked trip for her birthday but to be fair -- she wasn’t fluent in French, had never set foot in the riding she won in and opted not to campaign. She did win the second time fair and square after she learned french and actually met her constituents.

They are holding the event after the markets close. They were going to do it an hour earlier.

The reporting that flight booking from Canada to the US are down 70% for the next 6 months representing billions in lost tourism dollars probably helped too.

Did you watch it all the way thru 3x or just watch the final 3x? I just finished the show for the 1st time and am unsure how I feel about it?

Are you familiar with the Canadian show 19-2? They did a school shooter episode where the pov of the police entering the school is a single 13 minute shot. The first part of this is the single shot: www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ltxi... And they did this for the french and english versions of the show

But have you been to western Canada?

I wonder if this is also tied to the school building announcement providing funds for charter schools for the first time?

Have you tried using lists to follow the people and topics you want to see and different lists for the topics you want to dip into when you are feeling up to it? I find that helps me.

The times I've signed with Saskatchewan lawyers have been affidavits for applications to the court. I think it should be ok
