I read this wrong originally and assumed you were talking about some new fubar events in Southern politics, my mistake!

The reminder was great! Theodore Boone, Kid Lawyer was exactly what I needed to get me in the mood

Whew! That's a relief. Also...snrk. It's like watching a wasp land on a stinging nettle. Somebody's going to get stung, and nobody will cry.

I loved the way Mama was quietly saying 'kids, kids, stick with me' the whole time as the babies went absolutely everywhere snagging crumbs :D

For anyone who's interested, I can speak to this directly: professional landscapers recommend this for folks watching the budget. The quality is solid, and the plants cost less than we can buy them wholesale!

Oh no. I was at work. What the heck happened now?!

I love the word. I describe it as 'like watching a wasp land on a stinging nettle' myself; something I picked up from a Pratchett book

We joke that Jack has a Cuddle Quota; if you're busy and he doesn't get much attention, he will be extra demanding and snuggly until the Cuddle Quota is met.

And they really always have been. Read first-hand historical sources, and it's all 'oh no dear the Plague/massive army/terrible thing is miles away' or 'oh no this scary new idea will murder us all in our beds!' You really never know until it's happened. But we can make good guesses.

Right? I totally want this to be the start, with the whiny sibling complaining, and then the other sibling comes in and goes 'get off the couch and grab a spade, we're putting biochar out today and harvesting the graphene from the carbon reactors for the 3-D printers. Come on!'

Very cool! I'm happy to join in as a storyteller, but I'll be at work during the marathon. Can I send you a snippet for posting?
