Today's heat made me sketch this: chill vests, a type of vest that lots of folks wear in a wounded and healing future. The coolant technology is also incorporated into jackets of all sorts to make it a bit more fashionable. #solarpunk #wecandobetter

There's this tree in the woods behind our house. It must've fallen at some point--probably hit by lightning. But the roots must've stayed intact. Because even though the trunk is flat on the ground, the branches have grown up like new trees. And I love it as a reminder that what's broken isn't lost.
