Law enforcement officers should never cover their faces when making arrests or conceal their identities (unless they are working undercover). They work for us. We have a right to know who they are. These face coverings are frightening & unAmerican, as though they're ashamed of what they're doing.

More than a century after the Tulsa Race Massacre of 1921, one of the most horrific episodes of racial violence in U.S. history, the city’s mayor announced a $105 million reparations package on Sunday. It is the first large-scale plan committing funds to address the impact of the atrocity.

🚨BREAKING: Leader Schumer promises to "fight tooth and nail to strike" provision in GOP budget bill making it harder for judges to hold Trump administration in contempt of court. "Republican’s naked subservience to a lawless President is gravely dangerous and Senate Democrats won’t stand for it."

Tr*mp has mocked our military and veterans for years. Of fallen soldiers he said, "I don't get it. What's in it for them?" Now his $45 MIL Birthday Parade pushes out Vietnam Vets. Service members: Trump has no loyalty to you nor any American. Remember your oath to the Constitution.

Huge opportunity for a political party that believes government can do good things. Public opinion is finally shifting after 50 years of right wing anti-government propaganda. This isn't the time for cowering and throat clearing www.cnn.com/2025/06/01/p...

Never has any leader had so many people wanting to make the argument that “not wearing any clothes actually makes the emperor better dressed if you think about it.”

At her town hall, @repdexteror.bsky.social said how there are very few union members in Congress. Yesterday, somebody in my comments said she didn't think she could run for Congress bc she only had a GED. You don't have to have a college degree to run for Congress, but 96% of reps do.

It's really something when I make a video about some good news: how this week Oregon Governor Tina Kotek signed a bill to outlaw child marriage, and men in the comments are saying the bill is "government overreach" and there was "no reason for it". This is America.

And someone should write a book!

What infuriates me so much about this new operation is that it is literally punishing people for following the rules and showing up to their court hearings. It is so toxic to the basic concept of following the rules. It is an operation designed by people who hate the concept of the rule of law.

We have hope. Rebellions are built on hope.

If my ticket gets pulled at @repdexteror.bsky.social's town hall this morning, what should I ask?

BREAKING: Over 130 former federal & state judges have filed an amicus brief urging the court to drop charges against Judge Dugan in Wisconsin The charges seek to criminalize judicial discretion & set a dangerous precedent for executive overreach We MUST defend judicial independence👇

Raskin: This is a gangster state. This is not basically a legitimate government that is sometimes doing corrupt things. This is an essentially corrupt enterprise. It's like watching The Sopranos. Every day, they get up and they try to figure out how to plunder and pillage the people

As a child, the U.S. government forced George Takei and his parents to live in an American internment camp during WWII. After the war, his family was left without a home or any resources to get by. He went on to become an award-winning actor and a lifelong advocate for immigrants' rights.

We have a city council ready to pursue a Barcelona or Copenhagen inspired development model while the local business class is full of Reaganites & greenwashers who want to sell you the same old BS with a new wrapper.

1/ A self-described "Bernie bro" took issue with the fact that I said we should not make saviors of politicians and she said, "I bet you regret criticizing Bernie you lost 200 subs in 1 day". So let me make this clear: I do not compromise my integrity for clicks. I do not pander to get subs.

You may not have heard that Trump cut funding to keep 6.2million struggling Americans from dying in the heat of summer. Half of them are elderly. Don't tell me it's not eugenics. Don't tell me Trump is making anything great. It's just cruelty and suffering as long as we are under this regime.

A little knitting in the sunshine at the rose garden in the park.

There's no part of this country the Trump regime isn't wrecking. He doesn't care about working class people. He doesn't care about the blue collar folks who voted for him. Our fisheries are just starting to realize that.

Guys, it's the oligarchs. If you want to blame someone for 2024, blame the oligarchs. Anyone telling you to blame someone else is part of the oligarchy. Dark money has been to blame since citizens united.
