One of my goals for this year was to learn how to fly the sport parafoil kite I’d bought in Ocean Shores, WA last winter but didn’t fly then due to the weather. It was kinda daunting.. but I flew it on Mission Beach on our vacation and had a great time. Well worth packing in my suitcase.

Back home after a week in Mission Beach, San Diego with side trips to Joshua Tree National Park (and son’s attempt to move Heart Rock), several taco stands, a sunset sail around San Diego Harbor. I start my next job next Monday, so it was nice to have some time to reset.
